He watched, his tail tip twitched on the ground, as he focused on the apprentices. He turned quickly to look at the other warriors and then gazed back at the apprentices. As he watched, he wondered who would win, his body quivered with anticipation under his fluffy brown fur.

Noticing the apprentices running, she watched with a keen interest. Her gaze was stuck on the running apprentices. She wondered who would be the winner in the first competition.

The thudding of paws were loud in her ears as she glanced above the grass. She backed up, her nerves on fire as she yowled when they neared her. She leaped up, standing on her paws, she only barely cleared the grass though, and noticed two apprentices heading for her. Her fluffy fur raised up on their ends as she yowled once more.
