Celtic grazes slowly and lightly while Lucky stands alert, her pricked ears swiveling in nearly all directions. She stood watch for other stallions, preditors, and other threats. Celtic raised his head upon hearing a short 'Ka-boom' type noise. Lucky stepped in closer to Celtic, her soft muzzle grazing along the ridge of his back.

Nightmare
Nightmare stood out by a river her head down as he muzzle made contact with the water. She had no idea where she was and cautiously stayed alert as she drank some water. After a few sips she revived her muzzle and raised her head up looking around before starting to graze. As a slight breeze came through her mane and tail swayed slightly.

.::Tall Oak::.
.:8 Years Old . Stallion . No Mares . No Mate . Alone:.
Oak arched his powerful neck, stretching his stiff muscles. He decided against going back to grazing, and trotted off towards the stream for a drink. It's strange, he mused, only having myself to watch out for. He felt a pang of loneliness, missing his old band, his mares and foals. If only man hadn't come, if only I hadn't been such a fool... Letting his thoughts wander off, Oak decided he would be happier if he simply focused on finding water.

Copeland stood infront of the river. Shivering lightly as a cool breeze hit her, making her mane move slightly..It had been nearly days, since she'd been anywhere close to water. And she was new, here. She lowered her neck and took a drink, taking a step forward. The water splashed over her hooves and legs.
She lifted her head as she heard horses nearby. Somewhere off behind her,maybe.
Copeland's ears fell back, thinking.
Was she in someone's territory? She hoped not..the thought scared her a little.
Only because she knew how stallions could be,even though she's never come anywhere near one.She knew this by the way her father would handle loners.

Nightmare
As Night stood behind the treeline by the river she saw Copeland as she was at the river. Noticing Copeland was a mare she calmed down slightly but kept her distance and watched her as she grazed not for from the other mare. She was fine being by other mare but if a stallion approached she was out of there quicker than lightning.

.:8 Years Old . Stallion . No Mares . No Mate . Watching 'Copeland' and 'Nightmare':.
As he emerged from the cover of the trees, Oak noticed two mares down by the river, a rather dainty looking gray, and a pretty black. Knowing that his dusky-coloured coat would provide him with camouflage in the shade of the overhanging branches, he came to a halt, happy to observe them in silence. They're both such beautiful young things, he thought to himself, wondering if they were shy, or whether they would be fine with his approach. Many lone mares weren't, but Oak wasn't like most stallions, he wasn't forceful by nature.

Nightmare
She had been grazing for a while the the one spot and the grass was starting to get to short for her. So he lifted her head and trotted to a new greener patch were the grass almost came up to her chest. She didn't even realize that Tall oak was by her as she grazed. She actually picked a spot that was closer to him without realizing it. Her hair shinned as she moved and ate her main and tail moving with the breeze.

Copeland glanced around, ears slanted forward. Pale blue eyes searching. For what? You guess. Her gaze landed on Nightmare, but the bad feeling she had, went away, seeing as she was a mare. Copeland looked back down at the river, on edge about this, still.. If there was a mare here, then that meant she might be in a herd, right..? She was nervous at most, scared. A mixture of both. Would they hurt her? She had no clue..Having just turned two, she was still kind of a filly. In most ways. She was still quite skittish. Like a foal. Slowly, she relaxed.. calming herself.Maybe this other mare was alone. She bent her neck down, taking another drink.

Thirst gradually overcoming his feelings of admiration, Oak wandered slowly over to the riverbank, dropping his nose to drink. His dark eyes flitted between the two mares, carefully watching their reaction to his presence, deciding whether they'd even noticed him yet. The tangy taste of the cool water was sweet on his tongue, and feeling revived, Oak raised his head to look at the closest mare, the little black. "Good morning," he called, breaking the silence.
