And I don't even have a hyena. .-. I realize the vixen is a major dreamie, but I don't have a hyena. Wish I did though.

I don't really see why you are ranting about getting pets offered.
But for the hyena-thing... well, yeah, thats kinda weird XD When they want something that "special", you could expect them to check your groups first XD
Or maybe they meant it like "go, get me a hyena for this!"? Don't know. It's weird XD

Yes, I totally agree. It's a pain. You can't trade off rats who are actually on the list for something even close to their worth. Which really annoys me, as I am trying to get (slowly) to my Dreampets. And even thought I like rats, this made me change my attitude about accepting trades with rats: It's not fun when accepting fair trades lowers your chance for a future-fair-trade immense.

Not quoting due to length, but I totally agree with the rat rant.

Don't understand why rats have to be such a hard sell. Personally, I feel the same way about spiders even if they don't have the unique linearts like mentioned with the rats. I have spiders in real life and would love rats and hate to see them treated with so little love here on CS.

@ the rat rant; I've never had any problems trading away my rats. Rareslist rats just alike. It's all about waiting for the right person ^.^ Patience is key. The other day i swapped a speckled rat for a blue balloon, with just a candy cane horse added to my side. No crazy overpays, just a fair swap. granted, i had the speckled rat for like 3 months, but as long as you are patient, anything is trade-able fairly, even pretty little rats 8D

and at the rant of being offered pets. I hate this. I hate it so much that i took all the pets i still need off my wishlist. People kept offering me july pps's, or sorbet's or zebra's. Even though they can CLEARLY see that i have nothing fair for a pet that high up the list. They don't bother to search in my groups to find something that could be fair, and just go "Offer?" or "what would you give for this?". e.e I just. It makes me feel like they want me to offer things from my locked groups, like they are fishing to get a good deal out of me. So yea, ended up removing the last 25 pets from my wishlist.

I know that most other pets (dogs, for example) are worth more based on their species. As much as it irritates me, I generally try to offer rats only for other rats/spiders. I like to stay in my own little "pest" comfort zone, lol. More of a chance my trade will be accepted.
It also sucked the fun right out of trading when I realized that rats will always have the "penalty" of being... well... rats.
A rare rat from 2008 does not even equal an uncommon dog from 2008 to some folks. Species worth, Y U NO accepting of all types? You're killin' me, bro.

Yeah, I love my luck with that auction :'D I did not even post half of all the fail trades I got till now, offering commons, very commons and uncommons for it.
