Born to Fly (A Maximum Ride Roleplay)(Should I remake this?)

"Forget you!" His temper got the best of him and his pale gold wings unfurled for the first time. "I'm going home." He snapped. "I don't need some kid forcing me into sh** I don't want to do with her stupid mind control." His mind was on high alert. There were alot of possibilities. His wings would work, he decided. He would fly home, and resume life like normal until he could be separated into human and bird. He took off running, caught a light wind, and pushed himself into the air. He was able to glide five blocks, and then began falling, unable to properly use his wings or land.

Keiy looked down at the ground and realised that people in the forest might see him and notice that he wasn't some very big hawk. His heart did a little leap as he realised ust how close he might come to his secret being revealed, and quickly tucked in his wings. He dived straight for the ground, straight for the swaying trees, the leaves becoming clear as he got closer. At the last second he unfurled his wings and pushed down, banking sharp to the left and swooping for a small clearing.

"Look..." Sorrelle began to plead with Tsubasa and Christi as she watched Keiy. "I got things to do and people to see. I'll get help if you let me first fly to that clearing in the hills--or at least run..."She took a slow breath. "Deal?"

[husky.]

Keiy zoomed towards the clearing, and pushed back at the last second, flapping quickly to slow his descent. He tucked his wings in and landed on the ground in a crouch, his hands on the soft grass. He looked up and around him and that's when he heard the voice. It was a bit faint, but it was there. He jumped to his feet and ran for the treeline, opening his wings and giving a couple of downward pushes that helped him up to a thick branch of a tree. He crouched on the tree, his heart beating faster as he tried to find the speaker of the voice.

"Oi!" Sorrelle glared at Tsubasa and Christi. "I'm going. It's happened before. I'll heal." She walked around them. "I'll catch you later, maybe, but I'm not part of your little flock." She stepped into tue trees and let her wings open as she caught the scent of another bird kid. "Why can't you all just leave. Me. Alone!?" She pinpointed the smell and turned to the tree Keiy was in. "I told you that I'd be fine, so--" She stopped at the sight of Keiy. He didn't look like the flocking type of bird, either. "What?" She growled at him. "Come to kill me? Work for the school? /Go ahead/! I can't fight you." She kept her glare.

Keiy stared at the girl, another avian hybrid like him. He started to protest, confused at her outburst, but held back before he could say anything he would regret. His fringe fell into his eyes but he didn't try to move it as he continued watching the girl. "Wh... I'm not here to kill you, I don't even know where I am." Though he would never admit it, Keiy was kind of glad to have another person around; being by himself all the time can't be good for anything.

"Emil!!" Ella ran after him, worried.

She watched him closely. "Who are you...?" Sorrelle took a step toward the tree and tucked her injured wing behind her. True, the boy was probably freaking out because of all the blood on her... She coughee into her sleeve. "Ugh... Your near the town I just came from... We're just outside. Dunno what it's called. S-so who are you?" She wiped the blood from her mouth.

Emil hit the ground hard. It wasn't like a hit he'd take in football. He heard bones crunch and coughed some blood. He had bitten his tongue. "Ella..." Before he could finish, a man in a white coat was over him, injecting him with something.

Keiy studied the girl for a moment, taking in all the blood on her as well as her injured wing. He felt a pang of concern for this girl, eben though he had no idea who she was. "I'm Keiy," he said, smiling at her in the hopes that it would make the conversation less weird and more comfortable. "Who're you?" he asked her, shuffling on his branch to a better position.
