Will you be able to spot a shooting star in the middle of all of the other ones? There is a deep blanket of snow weighing down the world but it's not snowing now.

Two wolves who make important decisions concerning the pack and have the power to banish wolves and lead attacks; this position can be moved from wolf to wolf.

Two wolves appointed by the alphas who aid in managing the pack. All wolves beneath their rank answer not only to their alpha but to them also; succeed the alphas.

.:Deltas:.
They are the beta-in-training. Usually there are only one or two but more is allowed. Deltas are often, though not limited to, the offspring of the betas and train under them; succeed betas.

.:Sentinels:.
These wol(f/ves) guard the area surrounding the dens. They are the direct authority to the scouts and overall range can be up to two miles. The amount of sentinels average one or two; only scouts can progress to the sentinel rank. Unlike other ranks, the alpha cannot appoint sentinels unless there are none left. For a scout to become a sentinel they must challenge one of the sentinels and then defeat them (the sentinel must surrender). These fights must be public, so that a higher-rank wolf can watch and make sure it doesn't get out of hand.

Scouts patrol the territory and are the better fighters in the pack because they need to be able to overcome anything or anyone unwelcome in the territory. They obey the sentinels and their patrolling range is about one square mile anywhere from the river to the end of the valley.

Hunters do what their name says they do. They hunt for the pack. Because other wolves can hunt as they please, wolves must be exceptionally good to be sorted into this group. They can also serve other purposes but are mostly there to make sure the pack does not starve.

Wolves who are no longer able to serve are ranked here. Although most wolves in this rank are simply too old it can also be wolves who are disabled to the point where they cannot carry out their everyday duties. However these wolves are usually very experienced and keep the pups occupied while the rest of the pack goes about their day.

Pups are wolves who are under one year of age. After one month of age they can begin training with the elders inside the limits of the dens and after becoming four months old they can be brought out of the dens with an adult wolf.

They are not part of the pack. Some of them travel in small groups but most
loners are solo. Loners can become allies with the pack (meaning that they are on
good terms even if they are not part of the pack). Other loners simply ignore the pack.
Sometimes loners are forced off the territory but there are usually several in the
territory nevertheless.

Cons: "I'm sorry to say I am a bit of a perfectionist. I always want things done my way, and I don't stand around and chat like most idiots. If you get on my bad side, you'll start finding life more difficult. I have quite a temper but will forgive you if you give me a heartfelt apology. However due to the obtuse stubbornness that everyone around here seems to possess that usually doesn't happen. I guess I'm neutral physically. I don't consider myself that good at hunting but I'm not that bad either. Same goes for a lot of things."
Pros: "I'm a very trustworthy person because I don't break my word. Although it doesn't seem quite like it when you first meet me I also have a nice sense of humor and if you get me relaxed then you'll usually find me pleasant to be around. Therefore I can be both a pain in the tail and the fae who makes your day. You choose. I'm stronger than your average she-wolf. Strong enough to overpower many brutes actually. Really I'm not that agile or anything but if there's one thing I have it's instinct. History: Vesper's parents were born in the Blazing Moonlight pack, but after Beldrum took over her mother sent her off to the White Nightlings in the hope she could lead a safer life.
Appearance: Vesper's fur is actually light brown, but in the sunlight red patches reveal themselves and then she appears to be a soft red fae. Her fiery orange eyes show her emotions as clearly as if she speaks them aloud. She has long, wooly fur and large ears. Her muzzle is capped with a sizable dark brown nose.

Nickname: "Call me anything you want."
Gender: "I'm a brute. Hopefully you recognized that."
Age: "I'm quite young, only 3 years and several months."

Rank: "I'm a hunter."
Cons: "I'm particularly stingy and easily offended, however mellow I might seem. If you want to keep your ears, you'd best not upset me. I'm also not that responsible and am a little forgetful. If you want to get to know me it will usually be you who has to approach me. I usually scare away the prey for miles so hunting isn't really my thing..."
Pros: "I'm a laid-back, calm wolf. I almost never get nervous anyway, and it seems wolves like to talk to me. I am also very mature for my age, since I'm living with a pack of older wolves. Talent-wise I am a pretty good fighter. At least I have won the majority of my fights since I'm quick on my feet and know when it's appropriate to back down."

History: Sauver was born in the Blazing Moonlight pack and was fiercely loyal to Hailstorm before his alpha's death.
Appearance: Sauver is a silvery gray brute with a short, thick pelt. He has very few hints of brown woven throughout but they are still there. The underside of his shortish muzzle is a patch of crisp white and his eyes burn yellow-amber when he is angry. His black nose and long tail prove noticeable features.

History: Fuir's early life is unknown to everyone in the valley aside from Val, whom he seems to be closely connected to despite their obvious dislike for the other.
Appearance: Fuir is a stocky wolf with fur the color of coal dust. He was once quite handsome but now his smoldering grey eyes are void and his face is pulled in shadow. It seems once you look at this wolf's face then everything around him seems too colorful and bright. He has long legs and large paws.

Nickname: Called Val by most of her familiars

Rank: Former Sentinel in Bandit Hollow pack, now a Loner.
Cons: Haughty, proud, aggressive, and independent to a painful extent although when she has no one to turn to she goes crazy.
Pros: Smart and spry, and an exceptional tracker. Brave, would never give up on anything. Can be caring, but only to her friends.

History: She is not native to the valley, something you can see automatically in her eyes as valley wolves tend to have dark irises. Val is connected to Fuir even though she acts as though she doesn't know him. She was the sentinel of the Bandit Hollow pack until they fled towards the mountains and now wants to live in the valley with another former member of Bandit Hollow, Aerie, and become allies with the pack.
Appearance: Vallerie is small for her age, with short fur the color of gray moonlight and frosty blue eyes. She has a slender frame and chalky legs. Despite her apparent beauty she has never landed a mate as most brutes find her a pain in the tail.

He did survive but has a giant indent in his head.

Chain was a good mate, but he was killed by hunters. Bronte was carrying his pups. She tried to drown herself in the river as a young adult. But Bronte couldnt stay under the water. The pups died and she joined her pack and has lived on.
