And I have this idea. To 'modernize' all the MLP songs, starting with This Day (Aria).
This day is gonna be perf, dude.
The kinda day I've thought about ever since I was a filly,
(because fillies def think about getting married, right?)
All the ponies will gather around me.
Say I look really pretty in my dress.
What the ponies don't know is that I've tricked them, man. (Even though I'm shouting out them all).

The day was gonna be perf, dude.
How coincidentally I'm singing (pretty much) the same lines as her,
But instead of having cake and stuff
with all my friends,
the bells might not ring.

I don't really care about the dress.
I'm not gonna eat any cake.
I'll be lying when I say my stupid wedding vows.
That in the rain or in the snow, I got the funky flow (Parappa reference),
and I wanna be together.
Honestly, I don't care about Shining, either.
But I still wanna get married to him for the heck of it!

We gotta escape 'cuz that's what heros do,
and save the day 'cuz were mary sues!
And I hope I'll be lying if I say
I don't wanna lose my man,
to this idiot lady who won't even love him!
Because I think about him all day.
Oh, Shining Armor, why am I singing to you if you can't hear me?

Finally it's time for me to get married.

We'll miss out on the wedding,
