Crystal whimmpered and watched the gar close in on spring she panicked and ran across a rock and in the water distracting the gar she paddled back to the shore with the gar on her tail ( not really on her tail)

Spring swam past Scar, as he did he broke the vine and dragged Scar with him. Finally reaching shore he let Scar fall from his jaws several meters from shore. Once he dropped Scar, he, himself, collapsed and tried to drag himself to Crystal.

Crystal was still her side was missing a few clumps of fur the only thing that showed she was alive was the slight twitch of her ear
