Edit, maybe they could have the option of having feathering down their whole front legs and half way down their back legs (from around the hock area)? And males could have this feathering from under their chin, along their jaw and down their neck and chest joining on the the feathering running down their front legs? I just think this would look awesome, but thats just me

How do you think the shading/mane & tail looks so far?

It looks great! <33 I would have the tail hair go over the back left leg though, but other than that it looks cool .3.

Do you mean have it go all the way across the shown side of the leg? I thought about that, I didn't know if it'd cover to much of the leg's markings, but if you think that wouldn't matter, I could give it a shot and see how it looks!

EDIT: Added some feathering examples, and I also wasn't liking the muscle structure, so I changed that.

Yeah, i wasn't overly thrilled with the outcome, I'll try Midnight's suggestion and see if that looks better.
