I'm moving my 10 gallon from my room in my dorm to the living room today O_o Nervous about it. I'll be taking Peeta out and taking the water down over halfway for the mini-move so he'll get a nice big water change. haha! I'll be leaving for Christmas vacation next Thursday...I can't decide if I should take Peeta home or have one of my roommates who's staying on campus feed him. I'm just afraid she'll over feed him or something. I would just get him a feeder but I'll be gone for almost a month and I think the snails would devour it within a week.

My black moor is looking extremely sickly, and he has a white fungus on his sides. Not moving much. What should I do? He's never been a very healthy fish, but this is a totally new level.

If you can fill out the fourm on the front page and post a pic we would be able to help you.

Within the next couple weeks(hopefully) I will be moving. It's going to be fun emptying the 55 and transporting all the fish in buckets to the new place. Then filling it up and getting everybody acclimated again? Not looking forward to that. The smaller tanks should be a heck of a lot easier. Most of the bettas are already in jars that will be easy to transport. The temp of the apartment will dictate whether I have to set up the tubs the jars sit in right away to keep them warm. Then I will jar the remaining juvies and move them as well if the apartment is warm enough. If it isn't, I'll have to set up another tub. I won't have as much space for tanks, but I will be able to keep breeding.
Also, I should be able to send a dozen fish to my first show next spring! Yay!

EmoKittehXD wrote:Well, my snail died today. i moved them both like you said, but he died anyway. the black one is fine, though. now its just my shubunkin and pleco. also, my plants haven't grown at all. any suggestions on growth, also, completely off topic, i'm on my way to the vet because my gerbil has epilepsy.
Lighting? I have a 2 foot light on my 40g and a 2 foot light on my 20gs, the plants in the 20gs grow much faster then the 40g as their is more light to water ratio
