Akiko shivered then sneezed and tucked her wings in "blech it's getting colder might aswell fly" she said and started to run, she jumped then snapped her wings out but winced painfully
And fell back down with a thud "freaking wonderful there goes flying" she said. She continued walking she stopped when she heard the loud howl and shuddered hoping today wasn't the day she had to test her persuasive mind skills on wolves.

Quaint sniffed. Well, food. When I say food I mean the life force of a living being. He watched it circle the tree as if trying to find a way in. More specifically my life force I suppose. However any will do till he finds me. I've been tracking him for some time actually, the beastie has to return home. He closed his eyes sighing, it was his fault the shadow has passed into this world in the first place. Is there any one out in the woods? He asked.

"Oh," Vesta looked out, spreading her mind to see if there was anyone in the forest. 'Not that I can sense' she looked down at the shadow wolf. "Why is it after you?"

Quaint turned his attention to her Didn't I just say so? It's hungry. Now lets see were it's going He climbed up on the window sill. Allons-y he jumped out the window.

Vesta laughed, and then sort of gasped and squeaked when he jumped out of the window. She climbed out of the window, and jumped off, following him down. 'I better not die from doing this' she watched him, her hair fluffing out behind her and whipping about. Her face pulling back from the speed they where falling, a thought flew into her mind as they fell, which was rather random. 'Hey, Quaint?' she asked, hoping she wasn't prying.

Akiko Started to scan for any minds near her excluding anything not humanoid and sighed softly not picking up on anything she thought she heard a faint voice but, she shrugged and kept walking doing a 360 every so often just in case something tried to sneak up behind her she blinked and looked back at her wing wondering what was wrong with it.

Quaint rolled to break his fall, after all he didn't have four paws. Of cause he would still have fallen to his death if it weren't for Faerie magic. He stood up hopping from one leg to the other totally excited. His hair was ruffled and wind swept giving him a mad genius look. He saw Vesta falling and with the titch of a finger her descent slowed and he caught her. Yes? Wait, Hold that thought. He looked about him forgetting Vesta in his arms Someones trying to find us, did you feel it?

The shadow had sensed another presence nearby, it followed the faint trail the smell getting stronger and stonger until it spied a winged girl.

Vesta rolled herself out of Quaints arms and stood up, dusting herself off, whispering a spell to fix her hair and then tying it up again. "What now?" She asked, having a feeling they where probably going to go after the shadow-thing

Akiko Felt another mind near by but it was impossible to read and sighed stiffly and turned around peering into the darkness but not even a slight movement was visible she coughed nervously then turned and edged away quietly hoping whatever it was wasn't hostile.
