Something lightens up in my heart. Now, I'm going to have company for the forseeable future, and firstly, there's safety in numbers, but also I won't be so lonely. And it seems like these fillies don't know much about the area either, so we'll all be discovering new things together. "Thanks." I say, smiling. "It's good to know I finally have some company again." I sigh, and take a small step forward. "So, are you heading anywhere particular at the moment, or just wandering around aimlessly?" I grin, looking up at Regina and Siren.
Name:
Static
Gender:
Stallion
Age:
4 years
(At time of Rp)
Height:
14.1 hh
Personality: Static, well, he's kind of a rebel. With his father's seemingly flawless charms and mother's potential for a nasty temper, he can be a real handful at home sometimes, though he's usually a very calm, collected individual. Always the first one to stop and think: "Wait, are we sure this is a good idea...?" and point out all the obvious flaws in the situation. His 2 older siblings are currently the only equids in the world who can keep him riled up for any extended period of time, and he loves nothing more than to team up with a good bud (usually a sibling) and go scouting around for something fun to do. He secretly looks up to Rebel and Rifle like they were to be worshipped at a certain time of day, but he would never tell them that. Ever. In fact, stop thinking about it, right now. Sometimes, though, he just likes to sneak off and be alone. He's the middle child by both his biological mother and father (yes, it irks him), and can seem at times like he's "too cool" to be seen with anybody else. But the truth is, he just doesn't feel like he fits in anymore. It got worse after he found out that Kizmit, his mother's mate, was not his blood father. He had adored Kizmit as a father figure ever since the moment he'd opened his eyes, but when he found out... it shriveled something inside Static, curled it back into the quick until it hurt. Like a little child being told by older peers that the Tooth Fairy isn't real. And then afterwards, mind and beliefs, and everything the child has ever known and cherished, wars feebly with what reality has faced it with. Now, no matter how much his friends and family try to keep him involved, on the inside, he's always felt like... like, he's waiting for something. Something big. Something that will throw his world back on track again. Waiting for something absolutely extraordinary to happen. At every waking hour, no matter what time it is or what he's doing...
Only it hasn't happened yet.
Yet.
History: Static had it fairly good, you know, a fairly awesome equid life. He'd finally got to meet his real father, Halo. He'd discovered his older brother, Rifle. Who he might add was just as loopy and extroverted as his older sister for crying out loud, but that's off the subject. Heh, he even had a tiny younger sibling, by his father's current mate. Plus his newest little sister, Isabelle, that his mother and Kizmet had... wow, Static, the eternal middle foal. Typical. Ehem, back to the important stuff. Like his father issues. It felt odd, really, watching Halo with a mare other than his own mother, even though he'd never actually seen them together to start with. He'd always kind of held that against Kizmet, deep down, after he'd found out that not only was the stallion not his father, but that his mother had left his real father to be with him. You could tell, too, by body language as well as by the way he looked at his step-father afterward, that things weren't the same anymore. I guess, he was just so crushed, so angry that Kizmet wasn't his real father, as he'd wanted him to be so, so badly, that the only way it could bubble to the surface was through hostility towards him. Since then, he has stopped calling either stallion his father, and it would take something pretty emotionally jarring for him to call either stallion "Dad" ever again. Though it will probably only be one of them, if it does happen. In the end, he was truly glad that Halo was happy, and his mother and Kizmet too. He got to meet his adopted Aunt, and her daughter Sundara. His adopted cousin, Fayne. However, all of that changed when he decided to wander too close to town one day, for a quick sip from the river...
