Quaint gave her an odd look. Yes I do. Why do you ask? He flicked his bushy, plume like tail. The stove turned on by itself baking a dish of potato bake that just happened to be in the oven. I cheated.

"I was just wondering" She said, looking at the floor and admiring the long chants and songs that would have gone into making a house this high up. She smirked at the oven when it turned on and yawned a little, chewing at her nails.

Quaint watched, seemingly to study her. Where's home for you? He asked.

Vesta looked at him, "Far away." She looked at the tops of the trees and at the setting sun, the first stars just starting to sparkle in the sky and the birds starting to quiet down while the crickets chirped merrily. 'I could show you...' she said, her mind opening a little to let a few images stream through.

Quaint closed his eyes letting the images leak through his conciseness. He kept his distance from her mind however for privacy, his touch lighter then a feather, near nonexistent.

Vesta smiled a little at the cats touch. Images of home built into the trees appeared here and there, a large, dessert a beautiful blue dragoness and her rider, a dark skinned woman and a violet-eyed girl. She closed her mind after the violet-eyed girl, 'My home' Vesta said quietly, her eyes watering a little.

Vesta blushed a little, "I guess I am." She sighed, twiddling her thumbs. Her stomach let out a low growl and quickly grabbed her stomach, her face going red, "How much longer?" She asked, her eyes crossing to the oven.

Right.....Now He flicked his tail opening the oven. You may serve the plates. He said jumping off the bench and padding into the only room. I need hands. Paws only go so far.

Vesta nodded and stood up, she walked to the small cupboard and grabbed some plates. She set them on the table and pulled out a knife and fork each. She then put on some oven mitts ((:>)) and pulled out the potato bake, resting it on the bench she lay a tea-towel on the table and then rested the potato bake on it. She then cut a reasonable sized piece for each of them and then sat down on the chair she was on previously.
