Alex rolled her eyes. "I'm thinking about going back to the moutains for good. People are harder to deal with than father made them out to be." She spoke the thought out loud without meaning to. Covering her mouth with her hand she blushed and mounted Black Jack quickly, riding off away from the cottage and Gilan.

Why did I say that. Man, I'm so stupid Alex was not paying any attention to her surroundings, just lost in thoughts as Jack decided their course.

Blaze nudged Gilan. Gilan looked at his mare and mounted her.

Alex had been so distracted by her thoughts that when she looked at her surroundings, she was completely lost. Reining Jack in, she dismounted and looked around, but nothing was familiar. "Great now I'm lost." She said to herself.

Gilan told Blaze to follow where Jack had gone. He soon came to Alex and Jack. "Lost?"

Alex looked at the ground not really sure how to answer. "Well.... I just... I don't know..." She stammered. She figure that no matter where she was there was ups and downs, but this place didn't feel like home. She felt pressured to act differently than who she was.

Gilan put a hand on Alex's shoulder. "It'll be alright."
