Akira's eyelids started to close and her breathing slowed down. So did her trembling. She was too weak to shiver. Her ears drooped and her eyes glazed over.
Vitani stopped crawling and then wailed. She wanted to be with her mother.
Crow smiled.

Akira still didn't respond, but her eyelids flickered a tiny bit.
Vitani kept her eyes glued on Akira.
Crow's head snapped up as he heard orders barked at him. He got up carefully to make sure Bird wasn't tossed around. "Go find your mother, Bird." He said before racing off with Raven at his heels. They both grabbed to fresh kill and bolted over to the dreamer.

Marrow took the bear skin and wrapped it around Akira. She took a piece of fresh kill and put it under Akira's muzzle.

Akira shuttered a final time. She seemed to gather up just enough energy to lift up her head and press her nose to Night's before her head fell back down the the ground limply. Her eyes completely glazed over and a sigh left her mouth. She was gone.
Vitani sucked in a breath and let it out, howling in agony at the top of her voice. Despair wracked her body and tears fell down her face.
Raven's ears flattened and a sad look crossed her face.
Crow closed his eyes.
