Rowan heaved herself up the hill.

Star leaned against Dakota.

Dakota felt weak but he stood up and walked over to the Alpha again "Do you want we to share out the food bundle I brought back?" he asked.

Rowan flopped down on the ground, but she perked her ears when she saw what looked like another wolf. She instinctively ran down the slope and dived into the icy water. She reached the 'wolf' only to find it was a log. Rowan gasped as she was overcome by a wave of water.

Dakota saw his sister and ran down, barking her name frantically.

Nifty perked his ears up and dived into the water after her. "Rowan!" he grabbed her scuff and tried to swim bak to shore.

"Go ahead Dakota." Nikie replied.

Rowan tried to swim but the pending rush of water made her slip from Nifty's jaws.
