Azel clicked her fingers. 'Yes! It makes perfect sense. That is why Quaint was showing odd behavior, he has been in search of this daemon for eons.' She dashed over to the book reading the passage, she tilted her head looking at Luxor's picture. 'I knew I'd seen this genetic code before. My own brother was after him as well...' Sorrow turned the elf's melodious voice heavy, even Never's eyes softened. She looked directly at Vicky. 'I'm sorry.'
'Sorry for what!? What's happening to her!!' Never piped up wondering what was going on.
'Your changing Vicky, it's already started.'

Zaura held Alice up. 'You alright?' She grinned.
Linkheart came up behind her. He stopped not even the slightest out of breath. 'Come on Alice, you vampires can't run out of steam that easily.'

Linkheart looked hurt.
