"I might say?"-She smiled, raising an eyebrow at her, they were nearing Johna's house.

she nodded, "Having good hearing sucks....at first, i've learned how to tune everything out, but when i was 'born' the sound constatnly gave me headaches...though it wasnt as noisy back then."

"Well, at least you learned while it wasn't too noisy."-Ren smiled, then stopped.-"That's his house."-She pointed to the house just up the street.

She nodded, and walked towards it. Her figure changing from the sensual hourglass to a slight over weight woman with long blonde hair wearing the city uniform.

"What should I say?"-Ren asked.-"Or, should I just wait here....?"

"Wait here." Her voice had changed she knocked on the door and the woman with a heart shaped face Answered, "hello?"
"I have bad news Mrs. Lee...your son has died, there was a minor shooting in town and he was caught in the cross fire"
Her eyes instantly teared up, and she seemed to collapse in on herself. She stepped back and one of johna older brothers caught her, he had heard but he was trying to be strong for him mother. "We are unable to show you the body. Would you like us to prepare a funeral service for you ma'am?"
"Why can't I see him?"
"He is evidence, were trying to find the men who did this to him."
His mom nodded, "yes please. We don't have enough money to pay for anything though."
"Don't worry, we know your situation. You won't have to spend a dime."

Ren waited patiently a few houses down and out of sight. She bit her lip imagining Johna's Mom's sweet face and how much pain she must be in.

"Thanks." The boy answered for his mom.
Maya nodded, "Your very welcome, take care of your mother....and good luck." she tepped back as he closed the door. with a long sigh Maya walked back to Ren.

"Is his mom going to be okay? I remember her being really nice when we met."

"Yeah, she is....How many brothers did he have?" she began to morph back to her old self.
