Star flicked her ears and saw a rabbit dart past her. She just watched it and it stared at her for a moment, then ran off. She looked at the snow and saw little wholes were her tears had fallen. Star again looked at the sky and felt the wind whistle and twist arond her. It tugged at her fur. She felt... free.

"Are you okay?" asked Dante, seeing Luna's paws. He noticed how her pads were soft and tender, unlike his which were tough and sturdy, built for rushing through lands of snow and rock.

Shark woke from his nap and stretched. He flciekd his ears and listened to the voices on outside. Then his mind wandered and he wondered when they would eat, or if they would eat. He got to his feet and padded to the barn doors with his tail high, and looked out. He spotted most of the females on the team talking in a circle and he decided to ingore them. He followed his nose to wear Ana had diappeared into the house. He sniffed the door and found one of the dog doors attached to it. He knew that these were the ones that were made for winters and he pushed hard on it. He leaped inside and the door closed, causing it to warm up in the hallway. He followed Ana's scent to the couch and he looked at her while she slept. Then he nosed her arm gently and hoped that she would sevre dinner soon.

Sundance saw the rabbit and star run after it but there was this smell still lingering around it was making her scared but she wanted to know what it was she kept going every step she moved she wimpered looking around she saw the team following her

Marly smiled."I think everyones almost here.I wonder were Ana is?" He looked around, then saw his wagging tail."Oh.... Its you." He growled playfuly and chased his tail.

Star closed her eyes and imagined she was home. Hot tears streamed down her muzzle.

"Well. No not really. I accidentally stepped on a porcupine. And that doesn't not feel good." Luna sighed. She pulled the last needle out and whimpered. "But I will still have to mush." she added. She looked at Dante and smiled. "But I'll be alright. It's nothing but a little blood." she said. But it was more then just a little blood.

Then all of a sudden in the distance she could barely make out a sound of rustling and when she heard it she got really scared she turned and moved as fast a she could toward Marley once she got there she hid behind him.

Jasper yawned, and noted the sky was beginning to darken. "Maybe we should head back soon." She commented and wolf howls could be heard in the distance. "Ana is problay wondering where we are and we haven't eaten yet." SHe added as her stomach growled.

Sundance snift the air "Jasper there is a rabbit in that bush over there" and with her head pointed to a bush about 10 feet ahead of them."Why dont we stay in the forest no one is going to mess with a pack of sled dogs and think free as can be who wouldnt want to try it and in the morning we will all just go back and to the house!"
