Hey wait, I said I couldn't go on the thirteenth! Ya know, the midnight thing on the night of the thirteenth/morning of the fourteenth? I can go on the day of the fourteenth, if that's what you're talking about.
I just got back from Barnes and Noble, and they had a whole huge table full of stuff related to The Hobbit!!! Including little plushies of Bilbo, Gandalf, and Gollum

I'm an adult now! don't message me about things i said when i was 12

I'm seeing The Hobbit on the 14th. Alone though, since everyone else is at work/overseas. At least no one will interrupt me xD
kndsfjmsnfdfsjdkfn I'm so looking forward to it. I'll be seeing it in 2D, since 3D has never appealed to me, and the 48 FPS thing doesn't really look too good. I think everyone else around my city is seeing it in either 3D or 48FPS, since there's loads of seats left in 2D. Listening to the soundtrack and oh gosh I love the 'Song of the Lonely Mountain' track. Overall though, the soundtrack is very similar to LOTR, some of them almost like a remix. It would have been awesome going to the premiere, but I couldn't afford tickets to or accommodation in Wellington.

Dude a lot of you people know each other in real life, at least that's how I understood it. O.o
-knows no one on here in real life-
I have my tickets for the 14th at 10pm! I have my last final that morning so it will be absolutely perfect to celebrate.
I'm going to see it at the museum downtown so it'll be IMAX 3D and only $10. 8D My boyfriend and my two best friends are coming, just not sure where to park. The only other full movie I saw there was Star Trek and I didn't drive.
I actually haven't read the books in a very long time.. I read them when I was about 11 and several more times throughout middle and high school, but not at all since then. And I've only read the Hobbit once! Yeesh.
I told my boyfriend I'm probably going to cry and he just looked at me like "...are you serious?" Hahaha. I meant like a tear, not bawling you silly man.
We went to someone's house for a bbq the other night and I was too busy gawking at the Hobbit trailer on their television to say hello. >_________>'

I know no one from this site in real life either, so you're not alone there.
I'm going at 2:15pm, since later that night I'm off to a weekend-long convention. Have to keep quiet about the movie after I've seen it, can't let my parents know I've seen it yet, because they want to see it too XD
It's been a while since I re-read The Hobbit..might have to read it again before I go see the movie. I've been trying to convince my sister to read it; she's skeptical, since she couldn't get immersed in LOTR. She said the amount of songs and just the writing style put her off.

Haha, don't you hate when you can't tell someone? I never really have it happen for movies, myself - I rarely see movies at the theatre to begin with. My parents have zero interest in the Hobbit but I'm excited for our little group of four. Looks like it will be the first time one of my friends meets my boyfriend. O.o'
Meh, one of my friends has read the Hobbit. I don't think the others have read anything. I'm the oddball, especially looking back and wondering how I managed it with ADD, especially since my ADD was worse back then.
I'm just.. GUH. So excited. Having THAT and also the beginning of my winter break all on the same day is just... incredibly distracting.
