Orange Ranch- A free adoptables website • Artists Announced!

[Pachoopi]

You turn around, startled to find yourself face-to-face with three creatures of whom you have never seen before. One of them, a tall, horse-like beast with blunt talons on each foot, stands up before you. Two smaller creatures hop onto it's back, eyeing you excitedly through large, bright eyes. The two little creatures were covered in fur, and had a large, squirrel-like tail and hare-like ears. The darker-colored of the two flicks it's ears and hops down from it's perch, sniffing you curiously. You take a step back, and the creature sits down and flicks it's ears upward.

"This is Orange Ranch, founded in 1984. Sadly, our founder is no longer working for Orange Ranch, but the three of us do pretty well taking care of the Ranch and it's animals. You are welcome to stay here as long as you'd like, there's an open guest room in the farm house. We'll even let you stay here for no cost, as long as you're willing to help out a bit with the farm work!"

Orange Ranch is a free-to-join adoptables web site with lots of features and a relatively simple plot. ^u^ You are helping out around a place called Orange Ranch by raising many different kind of creatures. You will be able to go through many different events, contests, quests, and explorations to find site cash, items, special pets, and more! :D

We're looking for a few active artists who are fairly good at designing. You won't have to make your own linearts-- I have the .psd's of all the adoptable bases. ^^ To become an artist, it is very helpful if you have Photoshop or a program that can use .psd files. C:

Yes, i have been moderator for a old game forum, and several other adoptable websites which eventually died down.

How long are you usually on the computer on the average day?: Oh my! Let's see, maybe around 8 or 9 hours. On weekends, I can be on maybe 2 or 3 hours longer.
Will you be active on the site?: Totally. The adoptables look nicely made, and I believe Orange Ranch has a lot of potential!
Any past moderating experience? If so, which site/forum thread is it for? {not needed, but helpful. ^u^}?: I am a moderator and artist on a thread here on CS. I can't exactly remember any other websites/threads I was a moderator for. I currently am a moderator & artist for Meio Adopts.

Also, are the adoptable bases pixellated and small like the previews you posted above? I'm thinking about applying to be an artist but I've never worked so small before. My art program doesn't zoom well lol x.x

Yup, the adoptables are like the previews. ^^ The designs don't really have to be detailed, it could just be blends of colors or simple markings. :3

I mainly use Internet Explorer. I tried it on Firefox too, and it did the same thing. That's odd! Maybe I'll just have to get Google Chrome xD

Hmm... I bet I'd be able to find a way to color them, but I think I'll leave it to artists who are more experienced with pixels c: I'll apply to be a mod though!

(I used to be really great working with MS Paint but I can't do it the same way on the new version, and I haven't been able to find out how to get the old version back Dx My pixel days are a thing of the past I guess.)

A few hours on most days. It varies though; some days I'm available all day long, while others I'm only able to check in briefly every few hours. It's very unpredictable since I still go to school until January, and I have work as well.

I run the Atlantean Adopts; that includes the main adoption thread, a fanclub, as well as a roleplay that I've just started up. The species has only been around since August, but I've been able to maintain it with the help of only one or two fellow staff members and it's doing very well c:
