The made lowered her defenses as soon as the stallion expressed concern. She didn't completely trust him but he didn't seem to be a threat. "My apologies for the aggression, yes were alright despite being shaken up a little. Did you see anything?

Indigo nodded having become familiar with the area in his travels as a youngster. "Yes, I remember thinking my little stretch of the delta was massive until I became nomadic. The world is so large and beautiful...at least the portion the bipeds haven't killed."

Dexter smiled as she came under his chin.
It was nice to feel her so close again, and to know that she was safe.
He nuzzled her own head under him and whispered in her ear,

He closed his eyes and enjoyed her close touch.

Velvet walked along the trail, Bordom gnawing at her...
She stopped and looked around,

Nothing was happening, Her icy blue eyes scanned
the scenery, noticing nothing but trees, hanging moss, and the soft sounds
of Buzzing Cicaidas

She sighed and bushed away the brush, squeaking a bit when her long mane got yanked in
a thorn.

She came out in a clearing, a small stinging sensation on her shoulder..
She looked down to see three small scratches lining her shoulder,
"Aww, and the other ones just healed,"
She murmured ho herself,
It bled a little, but nothing to be worried about,
She threw some hair over and returned to her forward gaze,

Only to see a big Stallion looking at her.
A little zing of fear ran through her, she wasn't terrifyed, but this stallion was big,
and she was little....
She played it cool.
"Uh, Hey,"
She said casually,
"Sorry if i intruded on any territory,"
She looked past him a bit.
"Just passing throuh."
Her icy gaze showed a happy smile,
But she was still a bit too intimidated to move her feet and come closer to him.

Grazing disinterestedly on the short grasses, Death listened intently to the gunshots. He snorted; they were slightly closer now, but not close enough to worry about. Sighing, he raised his head to look around for his daughter. The silver bay filly was frolicking in the water, sending great sprays or droplets as she reared and slammed her hooves into the water. She was more like a colt than a filly, and Death couldn't help but laugh. He went back to grazing, pacified that she was still safe. At least for the moment.

She could hear her father laughing at her; it didn't deter Styx, or even make her stop. It only made her try harder. She reared again and gave another huge splash, soaking her chest, face, and legs as the schools of minnows went scattering father downstream. That made her feel powerful. Turning away from her newly conquered river, she trotted proudly over to her father and gave a purposeful shake, soaking Death as well. He gave an irritated snort, and she merely replied with a small laugh as she joined him in grazing.

Moving calmly through the herdlands, Sanuye pinned her ears at the gunshots. The hunters were back. She gave a warning whinny to any nearby Kelpies that they needed to move. She snorted and tossed her head nervously before turning and trotting farther into the swamp, seeming to disappear into the trees even despite her vibrantly-colored overo coat.

Allie smiled and nuzzled him back. she really liked him. Well once she though about it this was the first guy she really liked. She was glad it was him and no one else. He was fun and loving to be around.

That's a good start.

Shasta strolled along before stopping. What was that? That scent. It was unfamiliar and it filled his nostrils. He breathed it deeply. Kelpie obviously. None whom he had run into before. He swished his tail and broke into a brisk trot. He was a bit surprised to see a mare in front of him rather than a stallion. He was also surprised to hear her speak first. His strikingly green eyes flitted up and over her body. Her blue roan overo pelt contrasted with the erratic brindling that covered her pelt. She certainly was beautiful. He smirked and said coolly, "Hey there sweetheart, what's your name?" he tilted his head inquiringly as he took a sly step towards her.

Cyote nickered to War Hero as he stopped at a bog. "No way I'm trekking through that mess..." He whinnied as he shook his head.

The stallion continued to take strides towards the mare, whose name was apparently Velvet. He flicked his tail against his hindquarters. The long strands were heavy, but he managed. He flicked an ear to the side and easily smiled. Spotty. She had called him spotty. What kind of name was that? But he went with it. He tossed his forelock, equally as thick as his tail out of his eyes. "Actually the names Shasta." he retorted.
