Cougarclaw nodded in agreement "Yeah, it is. Do you smell anything else?" he asked her as he scented around the cave.

Sageberry inhaled deeply, catching the tiniest whiff of something. It wasn't a strong scent, but it didn't belong in a cave where everything smelled damp and cold. "It smells... Musty..." Sageberry mewed. trotting over to a cave wall and reached into a crevice with her paw. She felt her pads brush across something and she dragged it out. Old prey bones and patches of fur fell onto the cave floor.

Cougarclaw walked up to Sageberry and sniffed at the prey bones and fur "This is only a few days old too." he said as he shook out his fur "We need to show this to Witherwing." he said

witherwing walked over to sunfur," why dont you inspect the dens or hunt prey"

Sageberry nodded and collected the scattered fur together before picking it up gently in her mouth. Her whiskers quivered with a mixture of excitement and curiosity and the findings.

Cougarclaw nodded as Sageberry picked up the prey bones and fur and headed to the entrance of the cave. He stepped out of the cave and blinked against the sun until his eyes adjusted again. He looked behind him to make sure Sageberry was still with him, then walked over to Witherwing "Witherwing, we found something." he told his leader then stood aside so Sageberry could show him her findings.

Sageberry quickly set down the animal remains and stepped away, hoping she hadn't obscured the scent with her own. "Cougarclaw also found the scent of a cat near the cave entrance," she reported
