She smiled as well and swayed her long tail, lowering her muzzle to the ground before looking toward the stallion, "So, where are you from?" She asked simply, nibbling at the grass tenderly.

The kelpie thought a bit about it. He'd been nomadic for so long, he couldn't really remember. "I believe I was born close to the great delta because myself and my friends used to play in the riverbanks. How about you?"
(He's referring to the Mississippi river)

She laughs softly and sways her tail, "I'm from the Yellow Cotton Bay at the very tip of the Louisiana Peninsula." She said, relaxing her back right leg, "Lived right by the ocean. I used to walk along the beach all the time." She said with a chuckle, sighing softly.

She smiled and lowered her head slightly, "I'm surprised you've heard of it considering our herd was the furthest one down. We occupied the whole area past Yellow Cotton on into Red bay, the whole place our feeding grounds." She said before lifting her head and looking forward with a smile, her thoughts a million miles away, "I remember when I was a filly, the migration from ground to ground was the most exciting, fun filled adventure I ever had."

Chase followed behind Ana. His mane blew behind him as he trotted."So where are we going"he asked looking at her. He was sure she wouldn't lead him into some sort of danger.

As soon as they came closer the way to the beach, hoovemarks on sand was left behind them as they walked.

He set off at a slow gallop, keeping his brother in sight as the earth trembled at the two stallions running. His bond with his brother was a strong one, ever since that night the hunters killed their parents, e has always been the protective one. He would protect his brother with his life if necessary.

He looked down at the sand then behind him,he saw the large prints he left behind him. Also behind him was swamp trees but as he looked forward he saw sand and blue water.

He slide to a heavy stop as the mare turned on him, and spun to escape the threat of her horns but lowered his defensively. Grunting at her reaction to him. he looked at her and then the other behind her and turned his ears for the sounds of the gun shots. raising his head now and asked, concern in his eyes, "Are you ladies ok?" his face showed concern and no threat at all. "i heard the shots and was worried what was happening when i saw you two bolt by, i only followed to make sure you were ok. Please dont expect trouble from me" he bowed his head a little, respectively. and looked into the older mares eyes to plead his case of concern, only wanting to help. then a thought popped in his head, had another Kelpie been left behind to confront the hunters? if so, were they ok?
