Well, trying soesnt mean it will happen. We are loosing valuable oil. Im joining this cause because THINK ABOUT THIS, If they have to dig a new oil well, think about how much money that will cost us! Think about the damage, and think about running the risk of another spill! Thats what I think.
Quitting, and giving all my pets to Takegami Teijiro. Please don't think we're cheating. Takegami wants them, and I simply have no use for them.

Army--> All they can do is try. The thing is... what will happen if this happens again and again? We will be killing more things and that we will be wasting more. The best thing is not to make a new plant and just clean up the mess they have made. They may have another oil plant somewhere else.

I understand the frustration people are having with BP. I'm not any more happy than anyone else about what's happening on the Gulf Coast. However, I wonder how many people who are outraged own a car? Should car owners also be fined because animals are dying? Yes changes need to be made but it's not just the oil companies who need to change. People also need to buy hybrids or push for more all electric vehicles to be produced. I can guarantee that my ecological footprint is greener than most people's because I own no car. My husband and I bicycle or walk everywhere we go. We rarely go too far from home because of this but then again I don't need to spend hours at the mall and anything I need is within five miles of my house.

They thought they could save money if they did't fix these parts. they KNEW something could happen and let it happen anyway. they killed 11 of there own workers and millons of fish and other sealife. i rest my case at that.
No, I think it's YOU who does not understand. You do realize that you literally just accused BP of purposely killing 11 of their employees on purpose, so that they could could screw up the Gulf. That is a very serious accusation to make. You're spouting complete nonsense, and you have to realize what a huge thing this is. They can't just stick band aid on it and say, "Yup! Were good!", these things take time. Yes they are taking a long time to do it, but it's not like they're purposely doing that. And how exactly would you fix it?

Have they put the cap on those pesky...holes?
EDIT: It was a very unfortunate accident. They didn't mean to kill 11 of their employees! Humans and their techniques/stuff is not perfect. You can't expect anything to be; because true perfection does not exist but in fairytales or stories... Get my drift? I'm disappointed as well, but there is only a certain amount and type of blame you can give to BP.

Well, If they had done the yearly inspection this spill wouldnt of happend. They havent had the inspection for 3 years!
I haven't been looking forward to the day I have to say this, but I am officially quitting CS! Since '09 I have matured and just haven't felt interested in it anymore. I won't forget any of you guys who I have made friendships with, you've all been wonderful.
Peace out, don't do drugs, eat cookies, and be sugary. <33333

Accidents happen you know.. all in all it was most likely the underwater conditions that caused the explosion, instead of BP. :/
They're doing the best they can. It's not right to call blame, because now it's nobody's problem and everybody's problem.
As a Gulf-Coaster myself, I am hoping the endangered animals make it through. Extinctions on count of human issues is just painful to see.

this is really pointless... the oil spill was an accident, it's not like BP wanted it to happen, as they're going to lose millions of dollars in oil, millions of dollars in repairing the problem, and much more losses in public popularity etc for this accident.
Posting about how awful it is doesn't change anything. Everyone already wants the oil spill to be cleaned up, everyone is already working on ways to fix it. Nobody is sitting around going 'oh it doesn't matter, we'll fix it another day.' or 'oh let's just spill oil for the lulz'
