)Sanaii drew her sword with her left hand as Ryce made a series of quick clipped steps to the side trying to keep one of the attacking dragon riders inbetween them and the second attacking dragon rider. This actually worked pretty well until they realized what she was doing and split sharply aiming to surround her. Things might have gotten very messy if it hadn't been for Ada and Zahraa, they charged forward engaging on of the riders leaving Sanaii to only have to deal with one. Ryce sensing the change in the situation stopped his dodging and turned to face the other dragon head on. His eyes were wide and they glinted brightly from his dark mask markings, a snarl split his face curling his lips to reveal needle like teeth. The opposing dragon charged forward engaging Ryce with a clash. Using his long horns Ryce dropped down low, curling his head inwards, and then in an explosive movement he shot upwards and forewards. The well placed strike struck right behind the other dragons front legs causing the struck dragon to rear up trying unsuccesfully to unhook itself from Ryce's horns. The Raider suddenly pulled back hard and to the side on his dragons reins managing to pull his dragon free by brute force alone. Leaping apart for a second the two dragons circled back this time positioned side by side so that the two riders were now engaged. Sword in hand Sanaii blocked the raider's strike at her head. Gritting her teeth she returned with a strike aimed at the raider's chest. Even with her training the situation was not an ideal one, fighting with her non dominant left hand, and having an arrow head lodged in her shoulder was not making this any easier for her. Then there was also the fact the raider was about fourty pounds heavier than her.
As the exchanged a few more blows the Raider suddenly made a wide high arch the sword headed right for Sanaii's neck. Knowing that she had no chance of blocking such a blow she did what came first to mind she callopsed back into the saddle until her head gently bumped against Ryce's scally hind end. With the momentum of the swing carrying him around Sanaii saw her chance in the Raider's exposed side. Not even bothering to shift herself into a upright position she struck, bracing herself for the sickening thud as steel met flesh and bone. The rider only had time for a faintly started "oh" before he slid sideways out of his saddle. His dragon pulled slightly off balance by the man's weight soon found itself with its neck clamped between Ryce's powerful jaws. As the dragon's body fell limply to the ground Sanaii looked around trying to spot anymore attackers. Not completely trusting her eyes, especially when she could hear the blood pounding through her head clouding her vision, she called out to Fox "Do you see any more?" from what she had heard and observed he had the best eyes of the bunch.
