Uhhhh, the size bag remains the same, and I'm talking about a Pet Supplies Plus (cool, thought it was a local store!) too lol. 35lbs where I am unless the bag size is the same but the kibble is more lightweight and therefore still fills up the generic 35lb size bag? However, EVO remains at a steady $50, so meh. Saffy's EVO only costs $24 >_>

From what I've seen, Royal Canin is about the same as Science Diet. Bleh.

@Cardinal, to be fair there's not much of a market here. People buy grocery store crap and consider IAMS to be gourmet dog food. With no market, EVO's price will drop to encourage people to buy it.

You know how you guys said. Science diet is bad. Can you explain. On the bag it says it contains real meat? I do not feed my dog that. I switched him off of Blue Buffalo and on to 100% homemade product! I get fresh meat, vegetables,and other products. I mix it all together and feed it to him. He loves it!

BUT ZEH BENEFITZ, JAZI! DA BENEFITZ!

I know what you mean though.. and.. I buy whatever's on sale. >_> If you happen to have a Pet Supplies Plus ANYWHERE in the area go there! Mine really often has 5-8~ dollars off on some bags. I once got 20 dollars off for a 30lb bag of Natures Variety because they were moving out stock. 8-)

Do you mean 25lbs of Evo? >_> Here's its 64~ for 25lbs. I generally buy Earthborn Holistic 28lbs for 50 bucks and not a HUGE difference in quality. <3

Not only the benefits of a better dog food, but also remember that a better food means a healthier dog and therefore less expenses at the vet!

Gotta love it when this stuff all makes sense xP

Also you have to figure out cost per meal. When you're feeding 1 cup a day of top quality food vs. 6 cups a day of low quality food it's gonna alter how often you have to buy dog first and how much you spend.

Are you buying online or actually going to stores? Its hard to recommend from stores because it does vary. ^^;

Going by online prices in the US: Taste of the wild is 30lbs for 45~ online. Eathborn Holistic is generally 50-54 online for the grain-free's. One of the better Canidae foods is Single Grain protein plus and it sales around 41 online for 30lbs. Natures Variety Instinct Chicken (one of my favorite foods. <3) sells for 47 for 25.

Your best bet is to actually check your store and hit deals when you can. =)

Alright, thanks! I will try to go to petco next week, and since it's the holidays they will defiantly have good sales.
