Overall Personality:
My name is Sam Cook. I was born in New York, 1991. So, as you might have guessed, I am nineteen years old. I'm straight, so I'm pretty much into girls. Not that many are interested in me... But anyway, I know I'm not like other people. Yeah, yeah you've heard that all before right? Everyone you've ever met, say they're unique. Well, I know I am. You see, I'm that type of guy you come across rarely. I can read other peoples energy. No, its not a power superman would have. I can just see a small wave of light around everything. When humans are sad, they're light gets kind of gray. When they're happy or excited, it brightens. Again, I'm not crazy. This is a real ability, I just don't know very many people who have it. But this gift isn't necessarily a good thing to have. Even though I can tell when people are angry or upset -even when they're good at hiding it- hardly any of them appreciate what I can see when I comfort them. I've even had some guy who got so upset he shoved me against a wall! What a day that was... I guess i sometimes just say the wrong things, I mean, who doesn't?
I'm really connected to nature. Like, I could sit for hours just watching the wind sway the trees gently. Is that... weird? To many people, yes. And they confront me about it right away. I'm sensitive, but it'll take a lot to offend me. So, when they tell me I'm strange, because I don't drink, or smoke, waste my money, or manipulate anyone when I get the chance. I don't get annoyed. But hey, I don't believe in distrust, or hate. I'm sure there's good in all of us. It just down there, maybe deeper in some people, while others show it right away. Everyone's different. I always take that in when I meet someone. I monitor what they're mood is so I don't make them feel worse, or say the wrong thing. Then, I try and cheer them up with out them knowing, I know that they're sad. Confusing, right?
Well, I guess you could count my gift as something I want no one to know. Because, when people do figure out, nothing ever goes too well. But some do find out, and it's never much fun. Don't think this is my only secret, it'll get better and better as I work my way up. I'm afraid of blood. I can't stand the sight, just seeing it make me want to vomit. Um... Lets see now, I'm allergic to pecans, my face swells up, and I start coughing like mad. The reason I don't want people to know his is because they can sometimes use it against me... Okay, now for the last one. Damn, this one is horrible, I can't believe I'm telling you this... Okay Lucas didn't fall. I kind of... Pushed him. Hey, its not as bad as it seems! Well, yeah, fine it is. But I can explain. A bit earlier in the day, I found out he had stolen from me. My own best friend! Well, I got really mad. So, I just gave him a small nudge, and the next thing you know, he's in a coma.
History:
Should I tell you about my past? Do you really want to know? Well, its not a good one. It involve someone very close to me... not turning out so well. Well, here you go. It all started when I was twelve. My best friend, Lucas, and I were having fun at the creek, jumping form rock to rock happily as we tried to make it across without getting out feet soaked, knowing that are mothers would kill us if we got are shoes wet. After a few minutes of hopping, it started to rain. It wasn't too bad, so we decided to stay a while longer. Man, did I regret that. The next moment, water was pelting down from the sky, it as like taking a freaking bath! We tried to get back to the shore where it was safe, but the stream was going really fast... we couldn't make it. But Lucas tried anyway, desperate to get home. One minute, he was fine, the next he slipped on a rock, and was down on the ground, unconscious. At first, I was in complete shock. And asking myself questions like, what if he was dead? Would they blame me? What if he would never wake up? Could I live without my best friend? But later on, at the hospital, we found out he was in a coma. I had hope... He was still breathing, wasn't he?But that small sliver of hope slowly faded away over the years, and I knew he would never awaken. Lucas sleeps till this day.
Okay, okay. Enough of my sad stories, I guess I should tell you where I grew up. Well, I was born in Australia. I was the middle child, Jack was my little brother, and Luke was my older brother. Luke... Lucas? Confusing. Anyway, I was raised, and well brought up in Melbourne. Speaking of which, its a great city. The oceans are beautiful, and the beaches are worth the weather. But after a while of the unbearable heat, my parents left and moved to Italy when I was fifteen. By then, I had learned to surf, knee board, body surf, wake board, water ski... You could name any type of water sport, and I'd be a pro at it. But when we left Australia, I was devastated. In Europe, the sea's were cold and unpopular, it rained, and sometimes snowed. I hated it. And after constant complaining for a year, my parents gave up, and I got my wish. We moved back. But then, I was so used to Italy, I wanted it back. So, at age sixteen, I was sent to Liberty. Along with my Australian accent, which I'm glad I kept.
When I turned seventeen, things went downhill. My father, Conner had gone off on another business trip. My mother and I celebrated alone, with a sad little cake from dairy queen. Along with a message that was written in large red letters on the pastry, right there before my eyes: Happy 17th Birthday Samuel! At the bottom, there where six words in the smallest font that left me speechless. sorry that your dad's not here... Because he was never here. But he had always come home for my birthday, not to mention Jake's and Luke's as well. But this trip was apparently 'very important' and he couldn't 'miss it' even for this small celebration of mine.

Overall Personality:
I'm a bit of an adrenaline junkie, and I know it's probably not a good thing, but I guess I just like to feel like things aren't always in my control, you know? Anyways, girls seem to like it, but I'm not the best at conversations (selfish, self-centered -- me? Never!). I'm known to skip school on occasion, because frankly, I could care less, but as long as I'm with a good group of people, it's worth the slap on the wrist. I've been called crazy (and I've learned to take it as a compliment), but it's probably because I tend to do all the dares, pull all the stunts and pay all the consequences. I like cliff diving, wake boarding, and bungy jumping, but since they aren't the cheapest sports on the planet, it's not uncommon for me to be completely broke.
History:
When Xavier was two years old, his mom decided to go back to work, and his dad had never stopped, so he ended up spending most of his childhood with a variety of nannies and babysitters. Even at a young age Xavier knew these were all temporary replacements and, a rebel at the tender age of six, lashed out by constantly making as much trouble for the stand-ins as he possibly could. With a near constant rate of pranks, screaming, and general brattiness going on, no babysitter took a job twice, but after a while the stunts became fun as well as a way to get back at his parents for leaving him alone in the house all the time.
When Xavier was thirteen he took a dive off a twenty-foot cliff over a lake on a dare, and found the rush to be addicting. It became his drug, and found that anything adrenaline-inducing could temporarily block that empty space his absent parents had left. As a remnant of his endless war against the authority figure of the household, he also didn't take kindly to teachers (or any kind of person in a position of power for that matter).
He discovered in high school that being "dangerous" was a turn on for girls, so he began to get some attention, but his with all the different things he did outside school, it didn't take long for him to be labeled as self-centered and vain. Xavier also tends to brag.
As for grades, he does alright (except in math, his worth subject easily). He'd do better if he put in more time, did more homework and attended more classes, but Xavier has a lazy streak that loves to show up during academic activities.

Hi. My name is Claire Alyssa Jones, but please call me Claire. I'm seventeen years old and love sports, animals, and people. My friends and I go to the beach a lot and I've taught several of them how to surf; I seem to be relatively good at this. When I'm happy, I talk a lot. Sometimes I reveal things I know I shouldn't, but I do anyway. I've got a slight temper and most people say I have a high sense of self-righteousness. I enjoy helping people with their 'emotional problems'. I volunteer at a nursing home on the weekends because...well, that comes later.
History::
When I was six, my mother got breast cancer. She refused to take chemotherapy because she said it'd make her too sick. I had to spend my childhood indoors, treasuring the few precious moments I had with her. After seeing her waste away for three years, she passed away when I was nine. My father took this very hard. He became an abusive alcoholic, but no one knows this. We moved to the States when I turned ten.
My father abused me daily and I'd have bruises for weeks at a time. I was quite distant because of this and never really had any friends. Then, on my sixteenth birthday, I'd had enough. I was not going to live like this. I had saved up the money my grandparents gave me for my birthday every year and bought a small apartment in the city. It's not much, but it's home.
I have a slight fear of men because of my father's alcoholism and abusiveness. I have been in a couple...unsuccessful relationships that have left me brokenhearted and alone. I got a dog, Milo, and he has become my only companion. For now, at least. I took up sports in junior high, volleyball, soccer, track. I found that I was pretty good at them and played in the championship soccer game. I run a few miles in the morning each day.

Overall Personality:
August can come across as shy. Correction, August has come across as shy. He isn't a man of many words but when he does speak he wants to be heard. He is hopelessly romantic, yet slightly shy of girls, so he has a way with words. If he took the time to actually talk to a girl.
August isn't one to be messed with though he is a slight pushover. He won't let anyone down, including himself, and he won't let others tell him differently. August believes that he just has to try before he can even think of giving up.
August's true passion would have to be music. He listens to it whenever he can, he plays it if there's an insterment around, and he has even dreamed about it before. He just wants to be known in the world, to leave his mark.
August would rather be alone than with a group. Crowds are terrifying and dangerous in his mind. He has a very strong goal to not die young and he does all he can to make that goal reality. He's never touched a drug, except when he was sick and for healing purposes only, and he doesn't know what it's like to smoke. He can't understand why others would do those 'fithly habits'.
But when August does meet a girl, he'll treat her with respect and in such a way that he can remind people of a protective older brother. His charming, timid smile has caught a few girls off guard though he might not notice. He's different, not like other guys.
History:
August grew up in France, a small city outside of Paris, with his family of 5. His mother and father might have had a few heated moments but their love was strong. August has a younger sister that had moved away to go to school, where she didn't say. August loves his sister but he doesn't like the feeling of not being trusted. His older brother is quite the opposite of August; strong, flirty, athletic, and there isn't a day that goes by that August is slightly ashamed. His brother always seemed to perfect his in eyes while he was something left over. August has always said he's not very handsome but everyone he meets begs to differ.
Life was pretty normal for young August. He went to school, he lived on music, etc and he was always looking to find the better things in life, to see the world that was so different from his own. He had heard of far away places, he had never had the guts to go see them himself. Something about it made him hesitate. Why? He couldn't answer you if you asked. He went on living the life his parents hadn't picked out for him. He had always had a small rebel streak that was often hidden by his shy and pushover self. August wanted to do something more. But what?
Then August's world changed. His brother fell into the trap that was drugs and late night partying. August had tried desperately for his brother to give up his bad habits yet his pleading was in vain. August left for Paris to go to school while his older brother was still doing drugs. But while August was gone his brother stopped with the drugs and partying. August still thinks his brother is doing drugs and therefore is a little distant and worried for his brother.

Image of Character:

August is usually a few inches taller than most girls but he is short in comparison to other teen guys his age. He's lightly build and his long legs are perfect for running. He often runs when he wants to get away from the world. His eyes appear light brown in some lights, light green in others. In the morning when he's barely awake they can appear a dark green with brown flecks.

Overall Personality:
Eliana is different, strange, bubbly, interesting, and so much more. She looks up to Shakira, a famous singer from her own country. Gypsy is Eliana's everything song; from 'I need a pick-up' to 'I had a good day now I shall become happier with this song'. Eli can puzzle others with her outgoing personality and how she isn't afraid to show the world who she is. She has been known to laugh at least once a day - she says if she didn't it wouldn't be heathly - and talk to someone new whenever she can. If someone is shy, Eli can notice and do the talking for them. She may come on strong but she just is bursting with life.
Eliana dresses to her style, listens to what she wants, and does what she feels is right. When others try to dampen her happy-go-lucky personality, Eli can get ugly. She can't stand when others try to kill everyone else's happiness because they don't have any of their own.
She can stand up fiercely for those she feels needs it, whether that be a complete stranger or a life-long friend. Sometimes Eliana cannot hold herself down. She can loose control if enough emotions have been flying (One of her older boyfriends found that out first hand when he cheated on her more then once, each time he had begged for forgiveness but Eliana's patience had snapped), that is positive.
When Eliana gets hit with personal harsh words or a few words of flattery, she gets hit hard. She can't seem to let herself not let her breath be taken at every sign of love, or hate. She hates when others try to label her when obviously she is her own individual. She is easily taken by a few words of poetry for Eliana is very romantic at heart. Photography is almost always beautiful in her eyes, she can't seem to take a picture for the life of herself, but that doesn't stop her from trying.
One of Eliana's mottos would have to be "Live, Love, Laugh"

Eliana grew up in a small town in Brazil. Her life was simple. Sleep, go to school, love, life, laugh, and her life was almost like everyone else's life until she hit age 13.
Eliana's mother had tried for another child, for Eliana was an only child, and when Mrs. Williams became pregnant. Well, the house was a fury of active. By month 7 they had found out it was a baby girl and Eliana had been so excited for a little sister. But. The pieces of her puzzle did not fall into place yet. Little Ella - they were going to name the baby that - died during birth. Eli had held her younger sister in the last minute of the little girl's life. It was heart breaking for Eliana, her mother, and her father. For months they cried on and off, her mother the most. It was horrible for Eliana had seen just how strong her mother was. During the day after Ella's death, Mrs. Williams was as strong as anyone could ask from her. But during the night Eliana could hear her mother crying herself to sleep.
Eliana was always a little shaken from that day. She had seen first hand how easily life could be lost, the little whisp of life that had flown her baby sister so quickly. Whenever she heard the word 'died, death, dying' or anything of the sort her heart would flutter or stop beating for a fraction of a second. Whenever her friends had lost someone close, she was there. A shoulder to cry on. It was a lot to ask from such a young girl but Eli had taken the role with pride. She then aimed to show the world how strong she was. Just like her mother.
Eliana and her parents moved to New York City only a few months after Eli turned 15. She quickly adapted to life in America but she longed for her home. Languages came easily for her, soon enough she had 3 different languages learned fluently. Brazilian, English, and soon enough when she found out about the new school she was to go to in Paris, French.
Other:
Eliana has a small Brazilian accent that will glide easily across her words.
Image of Character:
Lightly build and a small frame, Eliana isn't a tall, striking figure. At first. Height? 5'5
She has a playful short blonde bob with thick bangs that fall into her eyes constantly. Yet, a few streaks of dark, almost black, blue run through her hair. About 40% of Eli's hair is blue, she wants to stand out, yes it's true.
Eli has icy blue eyes with darker blue flecks sparkling in them. Her eyes are always so full of life and brimming with excitement that it causes most to smile. Only when she looks back to Ella do her eyes darken to a medium blue, the life in her hiding for her silent mourning of her younger sister.

My name is Aislin O’Callaghan. I have such an Irish name, it’s kind of ridiculous, considering I don’t really look Irish. I was born in Dalkey, which is a small town in Ireland, in 1992. So, I’m almost 18, as you might have noticed. But then, you might not have, which is why I told you.
I guess I’m pretty nice. Well, most of the time anyways. My mom says I have a bitingly sarcastic wit, however. I guess I can be sarcastic sometimes…but not that often…alright, so maybe half the things I say are in a sarcastic tone, but whatever. It makes people laugh, most of the time. I try not to be mean, but sometimes I don’t think before I speak. I know it’s a bad habit, but I’m working on it. However, when needed, I can be quite the charmer, or so people say.
To be blunt, I'm not always the most positive person. Some people may say I'm pessimistic, but I'm really not. I'm just a realist, and in reality, life's not always rainbows and sunshine. Not for me, anyways. But most of the time, I’m a pretty happy person.
Yes, I can be guarded, but I just don’t trust as easily as I should. But personally, I feel it’s better than being overly trusting. I like being around people, so long that they’re pleasant to be around. Even if they’re not, I can handle it. I don’t really show other people how I’m feeling, if I’m upset or angry or something, but it’s how I was raised. Instead of drugs or violence or anything like that, I dance out my anger. It makes me feel better and takes away the stress. However, some people mistake my control over my emotions for being cold. In fact, at my old school they used to call me an “ice queen.” But I don’t care. Like I said, I just danced it out.
History:
So, as you hopefully already know, I was born in Ireland. My mom was French and a ballerina before she had me, so that’s where my dancing comes into play. She still speaks French to my sister and I, so we’re both fluent in French. I was practically raised in a dance studio, thanks to my mom. My dad is Irish. Like, really, really, Irish. Red hair, freckles, the whole enchilada. He’s a lawyer, and used to be one of the best in Ireland. He's still doing well in Boston though. I have an older sister, named Angeline. She’s pretty cool, as far as older sisters go. I always thought it was funny however, that I’m the one with the Irish name, yet I look like my mom and Angie, who has the French name, yet she looks so much like my dad. It’s hard to believe we’re related.
When I was 6, we moved to Boston, which is in the states. I like it there, but I lost my once-thick, Irish accent. Oh well, I still love it in the States. Angie’s finishing up college there now. She’s very smart, and I’m proud of her. She rejected the idea of dancing at a young age, so it was forced onto me by my mother. Don’t get me wrong, I absolutely love it, but it was my life for a long time. So how did the photography thing start? I don’t exactly remember, but I started taking pictures around the age of 11, and just kept at it. I didn’t really ever have friends at school, because they never understood my commitment to my dancing. They all thought it was silly to spend three hours a day in a dance studio, almost every day. Yeah, it made me kind of sad. The one time I started to get very upset about it in front of my mom. She told me to keep it in and deal with it in the studio, so that’s how I started internalizing it.
When it comes to boys…well, I’ve had a few bad experiences, but mostly, I just don’t have time. I used to get a good amount of male attention at my old school, I admit, before most of them realized that I was too committed to dance to commit to a relationship. Don't get me wrong though, I love boys. Especially the odd ones. I don't get why though. I have a bit more time now, however, so maybe having a boyfriend wouldn't be such a bad thing.

“There's no half-singing in the shower, you're either a rock star or an opera diva.”
In Divination:
Harry: Wait, I've got two neptunes, that cant be right!
Ron: Imitating Professor Trelawny - Ahh! Two neptunes is a sure sign a midget in glasses is being born!

Overall Personality:
Hi, my name is Regina Eltsov, but you can just call me Saleena. I’m sixteen years old, but I consider myself to be more mature than some people my age. I wouldn’t call myself your average girl, but I’m sure everyone says that at one point in their lives. I have two passions -- cars and art. I’ve underwent quite a bit of teasing from the male sex due to the first, and so my persona has changed accordingly over the years due to that. Honestly, the only person whose opinion really matters to me is my father’s, because he’s always been there for me no matter what. I like to keep to myself most of the time, but once you get to know me I’m extremely loyal and caring. I won’t let anyone be rude to those I care about, and many a time I’ve gotten in a fight because of it. I don’t really try to impress boys most of the time; if they like me, they’re going to like me for who I really am, not who I pretend to be. I’m one of the most ‘real’ people you’ll ever meet.
History:
I was born in the small town of Myshkin, which is directly north of Moscow and well-known for its artistic culture. This influenced me greatly in the first few years of my life, and laid down the foundation for my artistic tendencies (and gave me a bit of an accent). However, when I was three, my mother was diagnosed with Polio, and died not long after due to the last diagnosis. My father practically raised me from there, doing everything he could. It became evident, though, that northern Russia wasn’t a good place to raise a child, and so he and I moved to New York City in 1998 when I was almost five years old.
I was enrolled in public school there, however the other children teased me due to my accent and how I thought differently from them. I learned to avoid people, even those who were kind to me. I had a small group of friend who were also immigrants, seeing as they were amongst the few who understood what it was like to be from another country. My best friend was a girl named Daiyu who immigrated from Shanghai in China. She introduced me to as much culture as she could, and I did the same for her.
It soon became apparent to me, though, that I didn’t really belong in New York at all. Daiyu had moved away when I was a freshmen in High School, going back to Shanghai, and so I decided to pursue my artistic qualities, leading me to L’école des Arts.
