My mother finally stopped. After about a week of travelling she finally stopped. Ofcourse we did sleep, eat and drink. But that was the only time we stopped, which really let me know that life was tougher than I had imagined. And I learn alot on the way, I remember every single word my mother told me, because she didn't talk much. Most of the time, she only talked to warn me, "Dont go too far without me on the lead" or ," Dont go swimming or anywhere near water without me agreeing", and sometimes I got annoyed. But I knew she only wanted the best for me, I was her only foal. Back to the subject, this was the only time she stopped for me not knowing the reason, as she stopped always time-wise. I knew exacly at what time she stops to eat or drink, or to go to sleep. The time was nowere near now.
"We're here, Volcan" she said, Volcan was my name, she named me that, because I was born close to fire. Or, thats what I think. To be honest, Im not sure why she called me that.
"We are?" I ask, to be sure,
" Yes. This was my old home. Now we will stay here. As as far as I know, its safe" she said. I looked around. My mother's old home? It seemed nice, it was a huge field. What else could I say? The grass was untouched by the storm, it probably did reach it or the wind changed the direction of it's blow. There where forests all around, But the field was so huge, The trees looked as they where a mile away. There was also a small pond, but big enough for my other and I to share.
"Can I go explore?", I ask. "Not now, you need rest" she anwsered. And I listened, I promised I would listen to every of her word. So I stayed, but no sleep where in my eyes. I kept thinking, about what could be on the other side of the forest.
I admit, I was adventurous.
