Hayden-

He doodled thoughtfully. The dragon obtained more details ,he drew some flowers on the vines. If only life were so simple.

I glanced at Hayden and smiled a little bit to myself. I had no idea why I was going to tell someone I had just met today things that took much longer for my other friends to find out, but I actually kind of wanted to. I didn't want to wait to tell him, either.

Hayden -

He glanced at Josh, giving him the softest of smiles. Hayden glanced down at his drawing again, sighing and shaking his head at himself ... Josh's name in animals and vines... original and completely stupid.

I glanced up when i heard someone start talking. It was the teacher, of course. It took me a few seconds to realize that I had no idea what the teacher was saying. It took me even longer to remember what the English language sounded like.

Hayden -

He glanced up, blinking. Finally ... he folded the paper. He watched the teacher, blinking.

My mind slowly started coming back. I was happy that I could actually understand what was being said now. I really hoped that the teacher wasn't going to just lecture us all day. I knew of a few art teachers who did that.

Hayden-

He glanced at Josh. Then, he attempted to focus on the teacher. It was hard to concentrate with Josh so close, but Hayden managed.

I let out a breath and continued staring at the teacher. I shot a glance at Hayden for an instant, but I didn't stare. I let out another breath and did my best not to look back at him.

He was spacing out a little. Just a little, smiling stupidly. It looked stupid to him.

First days were always boring. Introductions, rules... Boring. Really all I wanted to do right now was leave. Art was usually pretty cool, but it wasn't today.
