American Movie. It's about a small town in Colorado that get's invaded by our foreign enemies. (In the original Russia and Cuba (It was made during the cold war) and in the most recent it's North Korea) A group of kids goes and hides in the woods towards the beginning as the rest of the states is taken over and when they find out how bad things are they begin to fight back. (They call themselves the Wolverines after the mascot of their school football (Not futball or rugby, American Football) team) It's a great movie, violent, but both versions are great))

Yu smiled a little. Her grip loosened almost completely. She really was tired though, but happy that Mark and Kahen were with her. She felt safe inside. Usually with Mark, she would also feel safe but this time with both Kahen and Mark, she felt something else...loved.

(When I saw this I instantly thought that Yu might try and make Kahen and Mark like each other...X3(so she can be with them both more, as if they were together, Yu could have them both around her a bit, and she could feel like that more as kids like feeling loved so she'll probably try something, at least that's the idea I got when I read that post) Pity Kahen's in Nightmare, and Mark and Yu are in Dream. )

(Wow, that SO does not sound like they copied the book 'Tomorrow When the War Began' (as well as that entire series of books) at all. I don't think I want to watch it(Red Dawn I'm assuming you're talking about) ever, I'm happy with Tomorrow When the War Began, and all the other books after that, and the movie they based off the first book of that. Way too similar! (a group of kids go out for a weekend vacation thing in the bush(or something) and when they come back they find the town(and surrounding areas) had been attacked, and that their pets and animals were dead, their friends and family either dead or held hostage in a carnival area, and that there were soldiers(they appear to be North Korean or something, but the race isn't mentioned at all in the movie, and I don't think it is really in the books either, they didn't want to cause offense I suppose(since I'm pretty sure the books were inspired by an actual aussie war event. ) ) hanging around, they go hide back to the place they'd been, and then soon decided to fight back.) ((Sound familiar?XD)) Awesome series and the movie they've done is really well done, does the first book justice. So I won't be watching that movie because if I want to watch something like that, I'll watch that movie I mentioned, or I'll read the 'Tomorrow When the War Began' series again. Besides, that movie you're talking about sounds a little too corny (and too focused on football) for my taste.)
((And while I'm not sure which came first (the books I'm talking about or those movies you mentioned), but to me, since I knew 'Tomorrow When the War Began' first, I consider the movies you're talking about as copies, though in reality they're probably not in the slightest for either way you look at it))

Claudia nodded from her position near the plants, "I'm not sure you'll recognize many of these. Most of them are seeds I've gathered on my travels. Like this one," She moved to a plant on her right, "Is a rare type of huckleberry that is normaly found in East Asia. And I know that some of this is against the law, but who are they to prevent me from eating the food I grew up with."
She turned back to the plant. Remembering Miiro's question, she spoke, "Do you think you could pick some Huhnon on the end? It's the only seed I had on me from my island."
On closer inspection, the fruit would look similar to a regular green apple, but grew on a bush type plant instead of the tree.

It's quite similar, in red dawn they were there when the attack began and as for the football, the mascot thing is it. They have a football player in the group, but they don't talk about it. The remake has a football scene. That's really it. Mostly it's about the kids fighting for their freedom, "Because Freedom ain't free." (Quote courtesy my ex-airforce grandpa) Definitely not copied though, I looked, Red Dawn was seriously made in response to the cold war and as I've never heard of your book I doubt the makers of Red Dawn had (I read all kinds of unpopular and international books, I was surprised not to have heard of it)))

The albino tightened his hold on her, relieved with his success. Damien closed his eyes, absorbing the moment, "Good."

She sighed, "I hate to break up such a sweet little love scene, but you might want to go and find that cure so that you and my little brother can have your heart-warming-goopy-little-love-story-moments after the end of the month."

Charlie and Ray
They were to confused by the personality turn around to react.

He shook his head, "I'm just a bit jumpy, it's nothing. You weren't here for what caused the holes in the walls or for
the crazy chick. Let's just say a few of the crazier members of nightmare woke up on the wrong side of the bed."
The dark haired boy coughed, coming up with a bit of blood, but wiping it on his pant leg immediately, "Well, there's been an outbreak of a specific disease, by the way I'm not contagious, and one of the people who happened to catch it was the nightmare second in command. Well, he showed up with his girlfriend and then passed out, eventually they got him into that room. The new guy in dream claims to know a cure and Clairna was going to help us get it, but she was provoked. She went nuts and it's been chaos in that room ever since." ,he coughed again, once again wiping away the blood, "I am personally quite amazed I haven't gone off to cower somewhere. I'm feeling pretty confident actually, but that may be the disease talking."

Walking over to where Claudia was she replied, silently proud of her knowledge, "Oh I know many plants, I grow many, many plants, and I know a large amount of species quite well, but I must say, many plants don't have seeds, they have pollen...And usually seeds and especially pollen is hard to use to grow many things, usually cuttings work a whole lot better, and if you could sneak seeds in, you really should try and sneak some cuttings in too, otherwise your plant variety is going to be quite restricted." at the breaking the law part she giggled, "I'm suprised you even worry about the law, considering you're a thief." Nezumiiro gave a bit of a giggle again, she was highly amused by that, and it was hard not to laugh, but she wasn't entirely sure how Claudia would take it, so she didn't want to make Claudia angry or upset by her laughing.
(I actually went to check to see if it was a real sort of fruit with google, closest thing to that word I could find was a chinese word 'hunan' which in english means 'south of the lake'...XD)
"This?"she said, pointing to one of the green apple fruits Claudia had called 'Huhnon' she wanted to double check it was the right sort before even touching them, as even a light touch left oils, which would then cause bruises to be more likely on a piece of fruit or could even cause bruises eventually, she didn't want to spoil something.

(It sounds like a minituare/dwarf apple tree or a NZ apple tree.:3)

(I doubted it would have anything to do with those books at all, I just sort of feel like they copied the books. I mean they're about completely different things, the book series is about an Australian thing (Pretty sure the time with Pearl Harbour or something like that) and those movies you're talking about are about a completely different war.)
(Wow seriously? You haven't heard of that series?! It's a very famous and popular series, international best sellers and stuff, can't believe you haven't heard of it, almost everyone over the age of ten in aus has heard of that series (if they haven't they should), it's a very famous book series, by a very famous author (it's like 'The Hobbit' series or a David Eddings series or like Harry Potter, something that everyone should know if they read books....Or like Redwall or something like that, if you read books, that series is a must read, it's like you saying you haven't read any of the Narnia books by C.S Lewis! )

Eyes widening briefly she sighed, "Let me guess...Clairna?" she said to the first part, she raised an eyebrow, well would've if a tiger can raise an eyebrow, at him wiping a bit of blood off his hand, she decided to not bring it up though, for Yu's sake.
"At this point, I'd either have it already or not." she told him, "And besides, do you really think I'd still be here in this hospital if I cared about catching whatever you and what seems to be quite a few others have?" Kahen was very lightly amused that he even said that, if she cared about getting sick, she'd be miles away from here by now.
At the next part she said, "Oh s***..." as if Damien was sick then that is the appropriate reaction to the news,whether in Nightmare or Dream, if you knew anything you'd have that reaction.
Looking at Mark she said incredulously, "Provoked by whom?! Must've been a real friggin' idiot, with a toilet for a brain, didn't they realise that if Damien was ill, and Clairna couldn't fix him, how mentally unstable the girl would get?!" though deep down she was pleased that her guess just before had been right, she didn't like getting things wrong.
Kahen ignored the part about a new dream, she didn't know who that was, so she just ignored that part.
"No kidding...I can imagine that it'd get chaotic, I'd be extremely suprised if it hadn't gone chaotic." ignoring the secound bit of blood being wiped off as well, she continued, "Well I suppose you're brave then or maybe whatever disease you've got, like you suggested, is making you brave. Though maybe you were just logically thinking it through, as in that sort of state, Clairna's range would be miles to say the least, depending on how many people are around, simply put, running would be pointless, and the closer you are to her, the quicker you'd die, so in a way, you were just taking to logical action of hoping for a quicker death, rather than running, and getting a much slower and painful death for your effort." well that's what she really said, but what she actually said was the same thing, except that death or die was changed to dance, and instead of the word painful she said annoying, though Kahen was sure that Mark would be able to easily get what she meant by that last part, the teen girl really didn't want to make Yu upset, but she also didn't want to leave the girl completely in the dark, so for the most part, her words were uncut, only that last part which mentioned death, which she figured right now would be a more scary word than normal for Yu, had been 'edited'.

(I think Kahen is too soft for her own good, and way too worried about other people's mental states)

"I suppose you'd know that better than anyone." she said to him, she felt a bit depressed, but otherwise felt a fair bit better, her muscles relaxed a bit, which Damien would be able to tell easily, since she was so close, Clairna held the moment for a bit too, liking the closeness, and the strange peace that had come.
Suddenly she realised he was hugging her with only one arm, pulling back a bit she glanced at the arm which he wasn't hugging her with, eyes widening in shock Clairna said, in a trembling tone, "What happened to that arm? I did that didn't I?" she bit her lower lip, knowing the answer before he said anything, which started bleeding a little again she was biting her lip so hard from the nervousness and stress. Tears started welling up in her eyes again, "I-I can fix that..." she stuttered, trying not to break down in tears again, Damien obviously didn't want her upset, but with the current situation how could she not be upset?
Looking around frantically for the other part to his arm she spotted it a fair distance away, looking back to him she whispered, "I can fix that arm for you." Clairna hoped he'd forgive her after she'd done such horrible things, and probably she hadn't even started to find out the extent of what she'd done.
Killing things was fine for the most part, that's sort of what she had to do all the time, but against her will, and the ones she cared about getting hurt as well, was not ok.
Her brain registered that Savannah was talking, Clairna was starting to get upset all over again, she listened to what Savannah said, "Y-Yeah, you're right, I need to go do that now." she replied to Damien's older sister, upon looking at Savannah she saw at least two heavy wounds to the girl, she didn't really want to ask if she, well her other side, had done that.

Claudia looked back a Miiro with a newfound respect in her eyes.
"I've never known that much about plants. I just enjoy eating fresh food and herbs, but that sounds like something I should know. Maybe you can show me do some cuttings? I've been wanting to grow basil and sage for a while, so that sound great!"
She decided that she shouldn't tell her that she was planning on growing Hemlock as well. She might flip her lid.
At Miiro's reaction, Claudia couldn't help but stand and laugh a bit. She thought the idea was kind of ridiculous as well.
After the laughs had calmed down she spoke with a slight grin, "Yeah, it's just the last time someone who wasn't a thief followed me down here, they were really freaking out about all the weaponry and plants. I was laughing my head off until they almost called the police. Yeah.... I brought him to Shadow since he had caught me practicing with dreams."
A frown spread halfway over her face as to what had happened to the man, but she didn't really care that he didn't remember the encounter, but it was always sad to force a person to forget something.
Claudia shook of the thought and returned to answering Miiro, "Yup. The obscure green one."
She returned to her cooking area and set the berries down on the flat boulder. She moved around to the other side of the boulder and opened one of her small chests of things; handcarved wooden dishware. She pulled out her favorite sets and set them over on her cooking rock. Claudia turned to the fire, realizing that it was smart to get it going, and she moved to the pit. She grabbed some logs and twigs and a tad of straw and wool from her bed. She pulled some flint and steel from one of her pockets and began striking them together to light up the tinder.

The boy rolled his eyes, “A, she started it, B, it’s not like anybody in dream would know she had a nutzo alter ego and C it was 3 idiots thank you very much.”
The boy tapped his temple, “The disease scr*ws with your brain, alters your personality, makes you see things. It’s still pretty minor in my case though. If I was thinking logically I would’ve done like your friend in the toilets and hid.”

Damien was relieved when she relaxed, but tensed when she asked about his arm, “I held it out and told you to go ahead.” ,he nodded, giving her a small, hopefully reassuring smile, “I figured you could.”
He glanced off in the direction where he knew the other half of his arm still lay on the floor and telekinetically pulled it over, looking back towards Clairna once he got it close to her, “That’d be nice.” ,he glanced at his arm then to Clairna, “It wasn’t you, you can stop looking at me like you think I’ll never forgive you, it’s okay.” ,the albino smiled lightly, “If there was anything for me to forgive you for I already would have.”
