rσsíє couldn't help but give Sunset a half-hearted glare, letting it drop quickly as she saw her sister arrive. "Hello Vine." She said, smiling softly. Though, the smile faded a bit as she saw her take a veggie from each of her daughter's plates. "There's plenty left in the dish. Don't take theirs." She said, looking over to the door as she heard Polaris knock. She got up, following Tide to the door. "Be nice." She told him, smiling softly at Polaris. "Evening, Polaris. What's the matter?" She asked, seeing the look on his face. She heard his next comment. "Wait.. What?" o.o

"I found her in the kitchen. She was supposed to be preparing dinner, but..." Polaris failed to continue that part. "And- and my little girl was in there helping her, she was in the corner cupboard crying."

He stared at Polaris for a moment, not really knowing what to say. "Shade? That's terrible... I'm quite sorry for your loss." he said, and meant it. Shade had been one of his friends. Then Vine walked over, her high heels clicking as she took a few steps and stood beside Riptide. "Riptide is right, that is terrible. But... you came to us.... why? My nieces are over there," she pointed to Lacey and Ripple. "and this is their first Thansgiving. It doesn't need to be ruined because of a murder... that we have nothing to do with." She sounded annoyed.

She heard Polaris and was at the door in a heart beat. "Shade? Was killed? Oh no!!!! That's terrible!" She cried. "Is there anything we can do?"

Polaris cringed, it was hard for him. "I called the police- I mean, tried to. They cut the phone lines, and took everything we could use to contact help. I knew you guys could help!"

Lilian whipped out her phone immediately and called the police. she told them what had happened and they said they are on there way. She hung up and turned to Polaris. "The police are on their way." she told him.

Ursa Minor was by the other children, but crying terribly.

rσsíє covered her mouth slightly, sad to hear the news. "That's..Oh my goodness.. That's just terrible." ;A; Ripple had come bouncing over when she saw someone new come to the door. She was clinging onto her mother's legs, smiling happily. "Who's Shade?" She asked, getting Rosie's attention. Rosie looked down at her, picking her up. "A very nice lady. Now come here, you and your sister need to go sit down real fast." She said, going over and getting Lacey as well. "How 'bout the both of you color a pretty turkey for all of us while we talk? How does that sound?" She asked, setting them down onto the couch in the other room. Ripple was just happy to hear she could use her crayons again, though Rosie couldn't be sure about Lacey. Ripple gave Lacey one of her brown crayons before getting one of her pieces of paper. Rosie was already back at the front door, trying to hear what had happened. "Where are they?" She asked, meaning Polaris and Shade's children.

Polaris blinked. "I brought them here." he said. "Ursa Minor!" he called, and the young JMD flew over, and sat on his back.
