Name Meaning: Cain means trouble, Nyx is the latin of night, and also a greek god. While she's female, she would suit him.

(Nyx (Νύξ, "night") – Nox in Latin translation – is the Greek goddess (or personification) of the night. A shadowy figure, Nyx stood at or near the beginning of creation, and was the mother of other personified gods such as Hypnos (Sleep) and Thánatos (Death). Her appearances in mythology are sparse, but reveal her as a figure of exceptional power and beauty. She is found in the shadows of the world and only ever seen in glimpses.)

Personality: Cainnyx seems to always be in trouble. From being dropped as a baby - down a mountain - to other Ancient Forest Dragons trying to kill him - Poisining, traps, Kidnapping... the usual- he has had a troubled life. A bit sadistic, slightly arragont and always cynical, he can be veiwed as evil. However, he has a sharp wit, strong will, and wont hesitate to attack people if they are threating something or somebody he feels is close to him. However, most of the few friends have left him. However, he always holds his head high. He wants to meet another dragon like him. He is not scared of anything except Dogs. Blame it on one trying to bury him.

History:

"I was said to be special. Something no dragon had ever seen.

It all started a stormy night. I was born then, and my mother could instantly see it was something wrong with me.
I had brightly glowing eyes and I seemed to be missing my pupils. A dragon without normal were said to be a curse, and that the child had to be slain instantly. I was brought up to a mountain, and I was held by my neck by the dragon who was going to let me fall down.

Where it was supposed to end for me.

I was held over the ground far down there. Until he opened his mouth and dropped me.

The wind blew in my face, and all I could see was the approaching ground. I was only a baby, only a pup, and I yowled at the Dragon above. My father. How could you? In a fit of anger I made a noise of fury, but blue lightning struck out and disguised it, and dark thunder rumbled, time seemed to have stopped, with the noise of the wind in my ears had dimmed, even if I continued to fall. The lightning crackled and hit both me and my father. I never saw him again. Bright blue light stopped my sight, and my body burned in agony, centred on my shoulders, which a blue light emerged like wings, and the was battered against the wind. It was over in about five seconds and the ground was virtually underneath me. However I tensed my body and the impact that should of shattered my bones only hurt my paws slightly. I was small, young, a child, but I looked up at the mountain with an adults anger in my pupil-less eyes. Suddenly I crouched as the boulder I was on shifted. The boulder moved and the landslide started, a blue glow somewhere in the middle following a dragon with an unfortunate curse. A curse of being abnormal.

And so began my life."


(still history) After suviving the rockslide Cainnyx went to find his mother; he remembered her fighting, trying to get her child from the one she called Mate, but when he got to the village, he found it deserted. The rain started to fall as thunder asulted the air. The village was deserted, a ghost village. A Phantom Village. After that he started to hunt for them, search for where his mother might be. He is still searching now, looking for his 'family' hoping they would have a change of heart, and if they haven't, well, he would like revenge, or to talk, at least. His adventures lead him across the globe, hitch hiking planes and boats, dodging traps, and having fun ... in his own way. He would like a partner, or someone who understood him at least, but he has almost gave up looking. He tries to stick to the forest, but still, like Nyx his namesake, gives people glimses, though very few glimpses, of him. He prefers to stick in shadow, however. Watch at for him at Night .


This maybe a wip; I might try and make it better. But dont count it as a wip if your judging it.
