They look awesome together. ^^
And that last sentence is so incredibly true. xD

[a hopefully new-ish look on the cliched pair]
Nobody could understand why we were lovers, but I still remembered the day we met.
His forehead stroked mine and I shivered, but I didn't draw back. Those intense eyes held me like a spiderweb trapping a miniscule fly, and he was not merciless enough to separate our gazes. I swallowed, anxious almost, but when no fear threaded through my eyes he seemed almost... satisified.
As he drew back, I abruptly whimpered, flicking my ears down to the curve of my skull. I figured I had misread his expression, that I had done something wrong and angered him. We had known each other for months at this point, but as he was the sadistic monster that roamed the edges of our territory, and I was the pack leader's daughter. There should have been no relationship between us at all.
"...let me be your darkness." He whispered, and the shudder that passed up my spine startled me. His simple words should not have earned such a reaction from me. I blushed softly, ashamed.
He grinned, a twisted look that curved both sides of his muzzle. I knew I should have been afraid. I knew I should have withdrawn here and turned and run away from the demon halfbreed. I knew I should begin begging for my life at the paws of this immaculate killer.
"No." I replied softly, and for a moment, he seemed both startled and deeply hurt. It faded within seconds. He didn't want me to see his weakness. I stepped forward and licked across his snout; I knew from the look in his eyes that it was the first time anyone had willingly touched him like that.
"Let me be your light."
