Ayet looked around to see Niko, pinning down Torka, and then with a surprised expression letting the pup go. His white head tilted, and he called over to her, "Niko...?" A few wolves restlessly glanced over at her as well, and the alpha's fur prickled. This didn't look too good... Was Death's tricks making his pack nervous? Niko looked like she had just had a nightmare, and her growl had confused him. What did you do to me? What had happened in her dream? And who did she see? The fur on Ayet's neck prickled, and slowly his fur began to stand on end. Maybe they all just needed some food and a bit of rest... He hoped that was it, but deep down he knew that no amount of food or sleep would fix the damage this eternal darkness was dealing out to them. Only when the Sun ruled the skies once again, would they be at peace.

Niko looked up at Cassandra, then at Ayet. Her eyes showed terror and confusion, and they seemed to be pleading for help. But it was gone in an instant, replace by the icy-coldness that had become her norm. She schooled all her emotions, and sat up, appearing to be calm. "I had a nightmare. My apologizes." She looked gently at Torka. "I'm sorry, Torka. Please forgive me." She shook her head, ignoring the pain in her neck, and stood up. "I need some water" She said, walking towards the lake. Dipping her head, she lapped up the cold water, but it seemed to burn as it went down her throat. She gulped it down instead, then licked her lips. She would never get to sleep again tonight, that was obvious. She probably wouldn't be able to sleep next night either. Or ever again, if Death insisted on visiting her in her dreams. She looked up at the alpha, her eyes cold and calm.

Ayet nodded to the female, still curious. He figured if she felt like sharing the dream, she would tell it to him. Instead, he turned back to the pups and smiled. Still waiting for Cloudburst to tell him her surprise, he went to the lake's edge, and sat, waiting for a fish to pass underneath him. When it finally did, he scooped it out with success and leaned over, grabbing it in his mouth. Dropping the large trout on the grass beside the lake, he smiled, glad to be able to help the pups. It was hard growing up in the dark world they now lived in. He went ahead and caught another fish, this time for himself.

Kyero smiled, "Thanks," He padded into the clearling and plopped down to rest. He hadn't had a good rest in so long. His eyes closed slowly and peacefully.

Timid Dart shrugged."Not sure. Just....walk around, really. Watch out for deadly creatures...exciting things are limited to fighting off demons."She admitted."Not very exciting, right? Well, I guess that falling in love is rather exciting for those that it happens to. Okay. Two things! Fighting would be my perference."

"Great," He replied, his eyes simply slits. He stretched his legs and stood up once more.
"Sooo....."
Kyero leapt onto Timid Dart. He growled playfully and bit into her neck, but softly. He had no intention of hurting her.

"What the-"Timid Dart barked, shocked. Hearing his tone, she realized her situation was not grave. Boredom had just taken over, really. "Okay, three things,"She laughed, attempting to throw him off.

When Torka hit the ground, his tail instantly flew between his legs and he adopted a pathetic stance - rolled onto his side with a hindleg in the air and leaned his head back, leaving his throat open for Niko to attack if she wished. He had seen adult wolves do this to eachother when asserting dominance and wasn't quiet sure if he was doing it right. But then when he glanced down at Niko and saw the glint of fear in her eyes, he pulled back his ear and licked her chin cautiosly. When she was off of him, he got up and crouched low - walking backward with his muzzle pointed to the ground. "I-its ok-okay, Ma'am." He said quietly before scuttling off under a bush once she had gone.

"Sir?" He called out when he found new bravery that was probably just a mix of adrenaline; some kind of bodily cocktail, and walked toward Ayet with his ears lain back. "Sorry, sir, did I do something wrong, sir?" He asked inquisitively as he craned his head back so that he could look up at Ayet.
