Golden Leaves
As Burn left, I gave a soft snort of relief, and pain. I slowly limped towards the trees before I dissapeared completely into it. Pain struck my stomach, and I collapsed next to a tree. I gave a soft, painful snort, before closing my eyes.

I stood up and shook out my mane before giving the small shire filly a nuzzle. I flicked my tail and nudged her to get up. "Your name will be Four Seasons, since you were born in Winter, close to spring."

I slowed down, becoming tired. As I became tired, I barely felt his blows. They were numbed down by pain. I walked slowly away from Crow, back to Thunder and Shadow limping. I pinned my ears and clamped my tail.

October Crow
Crow huffed for a moment as he felt himself quickly wearing out. He had zero energy, but that wasn't going to be the end of the chapter. He quickly stuck himself between Thunder and Shadow, blocking Aria from going to them. He lowered his neck once more, pinned back his ears and shoved her toward the trees. He grunted as he tried to not let his knees buckle from under him.

I snorted, and my legs buckled. I wouldn't budge. I wasn't leaving without my colt, or I couldn't leave Thunder either. I told him I wouldn't.

Crow snorted at the mare. She was so stubborn and it was wearing him out. The bachelor certainly did not want the colt to join his mother if he snaked her.. that would just mean more work and trouble. Crow pushed her again, his force weakening.

I pinned my ears and nipped at Crow not budging.

Crow nipped her back and tried shoving harder, but it was beginning to feel pointless. Growing angry once more, Crow charged and pushed her as hard as he could, giving it all he had. If this didn't move her, maybe nothing would.
