Maud_Quickpaw wrote:"That would be amazing. I don't have that much, but what I do have is either really light or extremely heavy," Claudia beamed. She was beginning to remember what it was like to have someone who cared.
As they reached the edge of the forest, Claudia seemed to perk up slightly. The forest was her home.
She walked with an obscure grace as she moved, as though reading the locations of everything around. She seemed to make little noise.
She constantly had to remind herself that Miiro was with her. Part of her brain continually alerted her to the fact that there was movement behind her and that she should attack it.
She stayed quiet for most if the walk. Luckily, her camp wasn't that far from the road. She walked into a clearing and looked around.
There lay an odd "tent" made out of logs as well as a target painted on every third tree. Near the middle was a small firepit, which held charred logs.
Claudia smiled, "Home sweet home."
(lol, Claudia's al happy and emotional about the scene, and all Miiro's thinking of is food...XD They're really not thinking on the same level right now, Miiro's too hungry. I just find it so funny that Claudia's like 'aw, I like having people who care around, I forgot it could be so nice', and Miiro's like 'Food, when can we have food, if I help I can get food quicker...' She's famished, so she's not really thinking straight right now...But I just keep giggling over this for some reason.

)
((Possibly cause it reminds me of myself, when my mum has friends around and stuff, I have to smile and talk to them a fair bit, and they all love how sweet and lovely I am, when the whole time I'm thinking 'food, going to get food in a bit, and I won't be bothered about the internet at all today cause of me talking to these random people, ooh, I hope there's good food floating around in the kitchen..' so cause it reminds me of times like that, I think that's why I find it so funny))
Making a slight face of apprehension at that she said, "I don't think I'll be much help with the heavy stuff...If you find it really heavy I wouldn't have a chance of budging it, let alone picking it up and moving it, whatever this heavy stuff you're talking about is."
Tired and hungry Nezumiiro followed Claudia, she loved forests and trees, breathing in the air she sighed a happy sigh, despite her tummy's complaints, walking along in a half happy daze as she gazed at the wildlife, birds that dashed through the sky, chasing each other in a flurry of colour, whether bright summer colours or warm brown colours, all the birds looked so wonderful.
And the small animals that peeked at them, as well as stopping and looking at various trees, as if she was trying to copy the intricate patterns in the bark, and have a mental picture of them.
Miiro loved how the earth felt under her feet, she felt like bouncing along like a newborn puppy, she'd just about forgotten her hunger in her delight at the whole place, she felt like going on an adventure through the trees, never to go back to the city and all it's choking smells and harshness of metal, and lifelessness, the cities felt like cages, she hadn't going near them, let alone having to live in one, if she could escape and wander through some forest forever she would.
The smells in the air alerted her to that it had rained in the early morning, only lightly, but there was still a faint smell of rain in the air.
(I'd go into more detail, of her walking through the forest/park place, but I don't know what season it is in the rp, so I can't go into too much detail really unfortunately)
It seemed to take longer to get there that it actually did because Nezumiiro was so absorbed in her surroundings that time seemed to pass slowly as she enjoyed everything.
Jumping at the sound of Claudia's voice, Miiro was brought back to reality, "Oh, yeah, so it is," she said in a distracted sort of tone, "Ok, so should we start collecting all the stuff you want to take?" she asked, trying to get her mind back on the subject.
(I thought you said Claudia was living in a cave of some sort, not a tent like structure, you said she lived in a cave several times before....o.O)

"Scary..." She whispered.
[exactly, you have to real devoted to learning Japanese...]
Feeling the waves of stress, nervousness and terror coming from the girl Kahen instantly knew this wasn't good for her, it was putting Kahen on edge, the amount of unhealthy emotion the girl had right now, deciding the girl was delicate right now she carefully used a paw, claws sheathed, to wipe away all the foam, well as much as she could, so that most of Mark was visible.
In a soothing voice Kahen said, "It's ok, nothing's going to hurt you, see I'm here, I'm a big, strong tiger right now, nothing can hurt you with me around, I'll make sure of it. You just hold onto me, I'm like a big, soft, fluffy toy for you to hold on to." she knew how to deal with kids, they liked consistency, things following routine and staying the same is quite a big thing for a child.
Kahen offering up the suggestion of her being a big toy showed a consistent thing that a child is used to, a toy, and then a child would hold onto that consistent like thing, as a safety net for them, as to a child, something that is always there or something that reminds them of such a thing, makes a child feel safer, and more relaxed. If faced with an upsetting or abnormal situation, a child tries to find something that is consistently in their life, Kahen hoped the girl was used to toys, she probably would be, she was very young, she didn't seem to recognise Mark right now, probably because he didn't 'look like he should' to her.
"If your good, I might be able to read you a book later or sing you a song or something, would you like that?" that was another thing, offering up the option of being rewarded soon often helped a kid calm down because they wanted the reward, also that sort of agreement was said to a child often, so again, a thing the kid was used to would calm her down more.
"Or perhaps you'd like a lollie or something like that instead? In return for being good? You're safe now, so all you have to do is be good, then everything will be ok." food was also something a kid liked to turn to, it was a distraction, and a routine sort of thing, and gives a sense of normalcy to a abnormal situation.
Also mentioning again that the girl was safe reinforced the statement of her being safe.
Kahen had wanted, before she became a dream thief, to look after children somehow, and had been edging towards child psychology or teaching. So she'd had a bit of practice with children, and knew a fair bit, and she hoped this would come in handy when dealing with this girl right now.
(Really anything to do with kid's that my charries talk about is just from my own experience, I've been an aunty since I was 7, and for the most part, I had to completely look after them for years and years, so I readily learnt how a kid acts and such (I have three nephews and four nieces, two of which I at one point had to look after every day after school, so I practically raised those two(they're like little siblings really now though because they're so close to my age really), for a number of years, and then for the past three or so years, me and my mum had to take care of my sister's kids for her (24/7, we fostered them for a bit), so I became quite practised in knowing how a child thinks, and how to look after them and all. Plus apparently I have a natural skill at knowing how a kid feels and how they think and what to do with them and all.<-Is why I get stuck with so much babysitting now)
((Though I'm not too sure on the girl's personality and all quite yet, so I can't really give more than a vague sort of response and all, so sorry about that, well it feels sort of vague to me...

))
(And yep to the Japanese thing)

He nodded, "Seemed appropriate."
Damien's eyes widened at her wanting to die, "I don't care if you hurt me, just don't die on me Clairna." ((Rather Ironic of him to say that...)) ,the albino gave her a quite serious look, "You dying is the worst thing that could possibly happen to me, worse than death, so don't say you want to die so you won't hurt me, I'd rather be stuck with your crazy-*ss alter ego and helpless than have you die."
((x3, I thought it'd be more sentimental if he quoted himself))
((S'okkay))
((XDD))
((I'm on my first year....))
Realising the guy thought he was hallucinating Kahen looked at him and said, "No, you haven't gone batty, what you see before you is correct, I'm a tiger, well I am a thief, see my bottle around my neck? My glitch is shape shifting, I can turn into ten different animals for certain amounts of time before I become tired. I could turn into human form if you want, but the girl might be too emotional for me to change into a different form right now."
Pausing she looked him over, "You are Mark right? You're this kid's mentor I presume, the way she keeps wanting to find you, either that or you're her brother or some other relative or her father, the two latter options I highly doubt, you look absolutely nothing alike."
Glancing about slightly she looked back to Mark, "Is there a room or somewhere that is less...." she made an odd face as she tried to find a ok word that didn't sound gruesome, "...Distracting. This scenery is distracting, we should move before it makes someone too upset." Kahen hoped the guy was with it, and knew of somewhere they could go quickly where there wasn't any blood or bodies around to terrify the girl.
(Not, really, I didn't word it that well, not your fault)
Tears welling up in her eyes she blurted, "Well I don't know what else I'm supposed to do!" sitting up a bit, still holding onto his shirt, so that he got moved into a sort of sitting position along with her, she looked him in the eyes, her own very lost, extremely sad, and stressed, big tears rolling down her face she said quietly, "What other option do I have? I never thought I'd go for you in that state, but here I just about killed you. Don't say it doesn't matter to you if I hurt you, it matters to me, you're precious to me, I'm a threat to everyone around me, which includes you...I never thought, I never thought, that this would happen again, I thought I was safe now, but..."
Wrapping her arms around him she sobbed into his shoulder, "I don't want to die, I don't want to leave you, but what other choice do I have?"
(Well it was a bit sentimental; I liked it.:3 A nice touch.

Just saying I then read about the food fight again, which is too funny to not laugh at, no matter how many times you read through that part)
(lol, then she'd probably be too advanced for you to talk to (in spanish) just yet then...XD)
(I feel sorry for her, just a bit)

(Learning what? That part doesn't make sense)
(lol, I don't want to boast or anything, but since you mention grades, I've always gotten an A or a A+ in any language class I've done...XD And I always hate getting a C grade, and usually get so depressed because I've got an average score...No offense to you fairy, I just always feel terrible if I get a C in anything. Though that teacher of yours was probably a mean one or something)
(And sorry about that, but Destiny's Child needed someone to help them join in, and noone was offering, so I decided I might as well do that, besides their conversation was wearing very thin, Kahen had been about to leave Fay anyway, I wasn't going to prolong a scene which wasn't going anywhere, charries can talk without doing anything else for only so long.)
