I walk down the empty hallway towards my locker at a snail-like pace. After all, there''s no rush to get to an overly crowded, crazy loud lunchroom next period. Ugh. I guess I'll just skip out on lunch again. No wonder I weigh less than a seventh grader. I sigh and open up my locker.

I slam my locker door with more force than I meant to, then open it and shut it again, more quietly this time. Stupid OCD. Cradling my books in my arms, my precious journal full of its weird, twisted stories on top, I lean back against my locker and slide to the floor. As long as no one comes down this hallway, I should be fine to write some more of my latest story before the next period starts. {If anyone has a free charrie, they can feel free to pass her by or someting. Just saying

Unfortunately, thoughts of my dad started to creep back into my head. Except, this time, I didn't picture him doing anything bad to me, or even Andy. It was something... worse. My smile faded pretty quickly after that. I put my arms on my desk and shoved my face on top of them. I didn't want to look at Hayden now, even though I knew it was impossible for him to read my mind.

I walked back to my locker slowly. I didn't want to go to my next period. I had kind of forgotten what it was, anyways, which wasn't a good thing. Whatever. What I really wanted to do right now was sleep.
