Phantom couldn't wait for the feast tonight, unknowing about the grave news of two deaths. He looked around the riverbank thoroughly, there and there, for something eatable. He stayed away from the dinky old rotted fish from before, for he hated flies. Phantom plodded into the water to find some fish, the cool water surrounding his paws softly. Something from above bonked his head. "Ow." He muttered, and looked up. A half-falling branch with a egg-full nest was tilting by the wind. Looking down at the water, Phantom saw an egg floating on the water. Phantom grabbed it and put it in the pile of food.

Leaf Fall was growing increasingly impatient. "Soul needs me back there to help him with Sasha's and Kikiara's burial, but I am stuck here until I see Wisp. Where could she be?" He mumbled to himself, irritably. For the thousandth time, his sharp eyes flashed around the clearing hoping to see the she fox.

Jakei slipped into a deep sleep once he lay down inside the den. His breathing became paced and even and his he twitched slightly as he dreamed.

Jupiter could hardly wait for the feast occurring that night. She longed to be able to help with the preparations, but so far, no one had asked for her help. She sighed and looked around camp, immensely bored. "If only I could go out on my own and patrol." She said wistfully.

Wisp hurried out of the alchemist's den when she heard her name being called and darted over to Leaf Fall, bowing her head apologetically. "I'm sorry, Leaf Fall, I didn't hear you... What is it?"

Heron looked around. This is boring. I might as well take a nap since Soul is busy. It's not like anyone else actually wants me here. So he crept over to the shadows as if he were going to pick some berries and curled into a ball and closed his eyes in the shade.

Copper tried not to let the hurt show in his face as he pulled rabbit over to him and finished it up, his stomach finally ceased growling and he already felt his energy come back. Sighing, he followed the newcomer to the strawberry bush and began to pick the berries. It was difficult work at first, since Copper wasn't used to being so delicate, but he soon got past the point where they all popped in his mouth, and he was able to get into a steady rhythm. "Good idea using the stick to string them on," he said to Heron, awkwardly trying to make conversation, "I'm guessing you've done this before?"

Leaf Fall heaved a deep sigh of relief. "Thank goodness Wisp!" He exclaimed. Beckoning with his tail, his eyes flashed around for a moment as he lowered his voice. "Wisp, Sasha and Kikiara have been murdered. By a demon." He paused, letting it sink in. "Soul asked me to come and ask if you would like...to help us bury them. Of course if it is too painful or too uncomfortable for you, then you don't have an obligation to come." His ears pulled back in sadness and a great agonized expression crossed his face. "But we better hurry, and please don't let the leash know just yet."

Apollo padded over to the river's edge, staring down at his own reflection. Seeing a fish swim by, he dipped his paw into the water hoping to catch it. Losing his balance, Apollo fell face-first into the water. He spat water out of his mouth, his paws wildly flailing in the water. "Ahh!" he wailed, scrambling for the shore. Hooking his claws into the ground, Apollo slowly pulled himself out of the water. He collapsed once on the shore, his tail and back paws still submerged in water.

Ryuu nodded to Soul, flicking his tails as the leader sprang away. He felt better knowing that Copper was with a fierce fox like Heron. And Yuri... well... Yuri could at least run. Standing up and stretching, he poked his head into the nursery. "Are you okay?" he asked Bluebell.
