A white and black JMD sat in the park, her back against a large oak tree. She opened a small briefcase. Inside it were the parts of a clarinet. After stroking its polished wood and metal keys, she began putting it together, start with the upper and lower joints. "Barrel... Mouthpiece... And bell." she murmured around her reed.
She slid the piece of wood into the ligature before putting her mouth to the mouthpiece.
Soon beautiful music wafted throughout the park as her paws moved over the keys.
She could already feeling the discomfort and worries starting to slip away as her enchanting song emitted from the woodwind instrument.

Vine nodded to Zak and swam back to shore. She dragged herself out of the water, water dripping from her fur. She shook out her coat, sending drops of water flying in every direction. Her fur was now dry and fluffy. She licked ot down to smooth it and walked over to Zak and his brother.

She nodded and ran back over to the coach and sat down. She took Ripple's crayon and broke it. Riptide saw and sighed again. "Lacey. That was very mean. You need to be nice. What do you say to Ripple?" he said, trying to stay calm. Lacey was just always causing trouble, and he was getting tired of it. Patience, Riptide, Patience. He thought to himself.

rσsíє thought about his suggestion for a moment before she gave him a small nod. "Hmm... I suppose it's just as good a vegetable. But I will succeed in having at least one of them eat vegetables." She told him, looking over to Lacey as she got up. Ripple bounced up and hung over the side of the couch. "I'm hungry too!" She said, mostly just trying to agree with her sister. Rosie sighed softly, going to pick up Ripple before she fell off of the back of the couch. "Don't do that.." She told her, placing her back onto the couch by her paper and crayons. Almost as soon as Ripple was put back down Lacey broke her crayon and caused her to squeal unhappily. Rosie quickly picked up the broken crayon and fixed it with a piece of tape. She gave it back to Ripple with a kiss on her forehead. "There, all fixed." She told her, looking over to Lacey. She poked her nose. "Don't break her crayons, missy. You won't be able to use them either if they're all broken." She told her, kissing the top of her head before she went into the kitchen doorway. "Do you want me to go ahead and cook it, or do you, Tide?" She asked him, taking a few glances over to Ripple and Lacey every few moments. Ripple looking content enough with her repaired crayon for the time being..

Lucinda was sitting contentedly out on the grass under the shade of a tree, with a little notepad and her favorite sparkly silver pencil. She tapped the eraser thoughtfully against her chin as she gazed absently off into the distance, her lips moving but no words coming out. She loved writing about the other dragons, even if she didn't really have any friends to appreciate the way she used her pink-jewel powers to make them look lovely with mere words. She scribbled something down swiftly on her pad of paper, then smiled serenely at it and sighed contentedly.

She could already feel the discomfort and worries starting to slip away as her enchanting song emitted from the woodwind instrument. It was as if the notes of her sound blew them away to a distant planet.
She closed her eyes and invisioned a world without problems, without pesky younger sisters, and other things she despised greatly. So great was her aggravation today, her music was louder than usual.
