Ok, i was thinking about your guys's advice about my pleco. but what do i do with it, as my only other cold water tank is oversticked and my tropical tank has one already?
And i'm planning to set up a tropical tank (up until this year i've only done tropical) i was wondering, like i said earlier, how do i get the invisible crusty stuf off the tank i've been scrubbing with hot water and vinegar for a few days now?
and what would be some good starter fish?
The fish i have a lot of expierience with are:
-Betas
-Gouramis (all types including dwarfs)
- yellow and purple Cichlids (although its very minimal experience)
-Mollies
-Guppies
-Platys
- Upside down catfish (very minimal as well, because i was very small when i got him and he died stuck to the side of the tank after a month)
-Neon tetra
-Cardinal tetra
-Skirt tetra
-clown loach (minimal)
-glofish (minimal)
-tiger barb
-bloodfin tetra
-lamp eye tetra

EmoKitteh-
As your resident cory expert and lover. (I lack the badge though since I didn't know where to put it), of course I'm goign to jump in here and try to convince you to get a school of cories for your tank. ^^
They are so easy to care for and get along with nearly all fish that won't eat them because they just stick to themselves on the bottom.
But even though they stick to themselves, 4 or 5 little cories will DEFINATELY add a ton of character to your tank.
My two cents.
I really want to post an awesome picture of my albino cory I took on my phone. xD I'll see if I get the energy to upload the pictures later.

Can you put the pleco in the new tank?
Why don't you try filling up the tank with water and try soaking it off. I had a bunch of crusty stuff on my 110 when i got it. I just filled it up with water and soaked off what i couldn't scrub off then did a huge water change before i added fish.

EmoKitteh - It's just going to be a transition from a colder tank to the warmer tank right?
If that's it, I'm sure some form of drip acclimation will work. There are a lot of sites where you can find out how to do it and someone around here might be able to help.
