Darkpaw muttered something under his breath that sounded like annoying she-cat. But he said nothing else as he walked behind them his limp barley showing. He kept his claws out and was sort pf crouchy as he walked. Like he was expecting something to jump out at him. HIs ears swiveled around constantly listening for any threat and his mouth stayed open scenting the air. He didn't like it here. It smelled of crow food and towlegs. Evetything seemed to bright and loud.

IcePaw looked around. " Blade, Shadow, Stone, Fang? where are you guys?" she called out. There was a noise coming from a darkened spot in the alleyways. A white she-cat walked up. " Ice? Is it really you?" she asked weary. " I thought you were dead." she said. IcePaw shook her head. " no, I'm alive. hello Blade" she said. Blade looked at SoulFire. " Hello again, it's great to see you!" she said smiling. SoulFire nodded. " hi" she said. Blade flicked her tail and three other cats appeared. They hissed as they looked at DarkPaw.

Darkpaw flicked back his ears and bared his fangs letting out a spit. He sunk lower into his crouch prepared to spring.

Blade smiled. " whoa whoa, boys please. Boss is back. Have some respect." she said. Stone, Fang, and Shadow sat and looked at IcePaw. " who's he?" Shadow asked looking at her. " A friend." IcePaw replied. " DarkPaw this is Stone, Fang, Blade, and Shadow. Their the friends i was telling you about. There not use to anything but here. Give'm a chance. And they'll give you one." she said. She looked to her Alley friends. " be nice for once." she said.

But Darkpaw was hung up on one word. "Boss?" Darkpaw asked looking them up and down dismissively.

" yes." IcePaw and Shadow replied at once. IcePaw sighed. " I was leader of this gang before I joined the clan." she explained.

"Why would you listen to her?" Darkpaw asked trying to late conceal the revolted tone in his voice.

IcePaw looked at him her eyes dark. " For your information DarkPaw, I could have these cats do what they want to you. When they want. But I wouldn't would I?" she asked, her voice angry.

"Have you lowered yourself to threatening clanmates now?" Darkpaw spat back knowing she wouldn't actually set her cronies on him.
