"And why show I do that?" Featherstripes hissed back, her fur bristling. "Making empty threats is stupid if you ask me!" She refused to show weakness from her wounds and glared at the cat with fierce grey eyes.

Darkbone was getting desparate. In a whisper, he said, "Please. I beg you. you can't because, Hazelstar........"

"And how do you know my name?" Featherstripes took a step forward. She raked her claws on his shoulder, leaving four scatch marks. "And what about Hazelstar?"

"I've been here the whole time, Featherstripes. And Hazelstar is my............"

Featherstripes narrowed her eyes. "Mate? Mom? Grandmom?" She meowed.

"My... my sister."

Featherstripes looked dumbfounded, but then she blinked. "Oooohh, so that's why you smell so bad. You've been spying on Hazelstar. But why don't you want to be found? Don't you want your sister to see you?"

"Well... we had a ... sort of a ....... falling out." He said grimly

"What do yo-" Featherstripes was cut out by a meow from her brother. "Featherstripes? Are you ok over there?" Stormfeather meowed. "Yeah! It was just a dead rat! I'll get rid of it!" She meowed back. She then turned to Darkbone. "So what do you mean by 'falling out'"?
