I know I've mention this before but this time I'm planning to put it in action... maybe -shot-
xD anyways, I know you guys would be interested in breeding Faerres :B so I'm planning to open up a breeding center sooner or later
But, I'm getting busier and busier these few years x.x; I need a way to staunch the flow of breeding requests :B
I have several ideas but feel free to pitch in your own and get excited about the breeding plans *U*
1. Faerres mate FOR life
therefore they will only be able to mate with one other Faerre and hopefully that'll limit the gazillion amount of babies
I'm thinking of max 3 babies per litter

oh and would you guys like baby LAs? :3 'cept if I DO do baby LAs ene they'll be incredibly small and puny. andIprobablywon'tbothergrowingthemeither
so perhaps a new item in the store to grow the babies? and people will have to buy it to grow babies if not, they stay like babies because i'm too lazy and too much work to grow them myself bleh.

oh, i've been thinking of introducing yet another LA... xD but i'm unsure right now. I'll have to think more about it. Tell me your ideas :B
I've been thinking of redecorating the whole thread because I don't like how it looks like xD but... who knows...

I would love if they could breed, if you do some item of making them grow. It would cost so much DX and I hardly have any rares left. If you make a growing potion, how about going back to baby potion?! Awesome!!!

I think this is a great idea! I am all for the "mates for life" thing ^^ it's also kinda cute X3
How will the breeding center look like, though? Will you just have a post dedicated to breeding, or are you thinking having breedings in the oekaki board? I don't know, just throwing out ideas x3

And I don't know about baby LA, since the faerres are already so tiny! It would be hard work for you too, trying to cram in designs in the tiny LA! But they'd be cute ideas, and I agree, only grow them if people buy an item to grow them :3

and...Taiyo... What new lineart? Suspense... And I like how the layout for the thread looks like right now ^^

I think a breeding something would be awesome <3 maybe a 'woo' in a way as well on the two soul faerres and their love story? An item would be cool for the faerre to grow, but the problem would also be who pays and who keeps? Would the faerre go up for woo and the two 'owners' choose the winner? A smaller lineart could be very hard to design on Taiyo...maybe like a blanket and a 'small' faerre and the blanket like on CS kind of tells the design?

I love that idea :3 mate for life...as I said a long time ago, I think people who love faerres for real can get babies they care for as characters ^w^ and it will be much sweeter/realistic in terms of everything~
And everybody loves writing love stories :'D

Apparently, I find the thing most exciting is the customs, I wonder if I will get a Mage, they are cute. And I spend a fortune on a custorm orb. And am not as rich as any of you, poorer in fact. Taiyo, I am suggesting you could lower the custorm orb price to maybe, 1 rare or 14 uncommons? It is hard work to get rares. Maybe for chirstmas or special holidays then raise to 3 rares?

Hmn.. perhaps no baby linearts then? litters should be born full grown and save the effort of 'growing' them? :> I won't make an orb that reverts a Faerre to it's baby stage because that's just... weird xD
How will breeding centers look? :I i... seriously don't know -shot-

and yes, I think I've discussed this before that perhaps we'll have a thread JUST for breeding posts xD the requirement is to write the two faerre's love story? :> -shrugs- will have to work on that idea more though xD
Oh and I forgot to inform you but your custom does not have magical potential either black ;n; maybe next time?

and about the prices of customs
unfortunately I won't be changing it, for a lot of reasons
1. I rarely open up customs and if I do, it's usually after a very long break (I think the last batch was done like... more than half a year ago?) because a) i'm lazy b) i have other art commissions to work on and Faerre customs are not my top priority
That means, users have a lot of time to gather up the necessary rares for a custom orb.
2. Different variety of rares
You are not limited to only WL rares, therefore easier obtainable rares such as event rares would be easy fodder, and very rares in my book is the equivalent of 2 rares (except for 2011+ store pets VR, I count those as R). You are also not limited to what 'animal' rare you give me. Bat, owl, rats, horses, whatever
3. It'll be unfair to those who bought custom orbs at the old price
and not to mention, I won't be able to handle the large flow of custom orbs. It's priced high because it acts as a flood barrier to the orders, I DON'T want to, nor am I willing to, to draw several thousand custom Faerres. + the main idea of the thread was not to get CUSTOMS but to showoff and test your writing skills :>

yes, while if it's at a lower price, more users will get the chance to buy their own custom, at the rate I'm opening custom orders... it'll take YEARS for me to run through all the custom orders + the thread will lose it's meaning if everyone takes the 'easy' way out. 'Bah! I don't feel like writing, why not just get myself a custom Faerre?'

I pour my heart into creating these customs, it takes time and effort to cram special designs into such a small LA. I aim to please with the end result and it's a wonderful experience. However, if I become snowed in by orders, details and effort would be sacrificed JUST to get all the orders done on time.

So I'd rather, get less orders and put a darn lot of attention and effort on them than to chuck out messy outcomes. C: i hope you'll understand~
