If you dont mind, I noticed you were planning to do a steampunk theme, i do rather obsess over steampunk so would it be alright to ask if you could do that one sometime?

I do truely look forward to it.

Also, I would really love to design a couple Newtons, but I do not have enough time on my hands to be a full time artist at the moment, so is there any chance that you will be considering taking guest artists any time in the future or is that idea not going to be in play for these adopts?

I'll definitely be doing a steampunk theme! However I'm not too knowledgeable about steampunk so if you have any information or examples of the style it would be most helpful :3

And yes, I will open guest artists up at some point! Most likely I'll open them up when I begin university again, as I'll have very little time myself to draw when I go back Not sure how I'll choose guest artists yet, so I'll have to think of a way to choose artists!

I know how to do steampunk pretty well ouo i wish i could try out to be an artist! to bad i cant use oekaki, i really do love your adorable little species!!

i feel your pain, the comp i like drawing on wont accept java so i have to use my laptop, the poor thing has a fit sometimes.

the contest is gonna be difficult ;~; iv sketched out a few ideas but i cant choose which ones :S

maybe use guest artists from the contest, you have quite a few people joining in

I was actually thinking of choosing potential guest artists from the competition! I'm going to be struggling to only pick a few when it ends xD
I do have a question though- what exactly IS a guest artist? Is it someone who just draws a one-off adoptable, or who steps in if the main artists are busy?

well, my understanding is

guest artists are people who apply to draw maybe 1 or 2 adoptables and then thats it. I had guest artists for my adoptables and they were around for a week or so and then i got new ones. You can hire GA's to draw if the artists are busy or you can hire them just to hire them. Usally people who want to be a GA fill out a form made by you and you can pick the users you want to hire and such o3o

In that case, I think I'll do a mix of choosing from the competition and doing forms at a later date! Do you guys think 2 adoptables per GA is a good amount?

Haha yeah, I wanted to make it challenging, but in a way that didn't depend on drawing or writing ability! Getting that one will be based on pure luck xD
And yes, your more than welcome to link to other ideas! The more I can see, the better!
