Foxtail burst in on the party. Medicine Cats tend to have a sense when something's wrong, you see, and she had that gut feeling to go out and check. She'd just happened to smell the blood, and stumble upon Ashkit.
"What happened?" She demanded, forcing every cat back a few steps. "And put him down now! I don't know how bad the condition is." She hissed at Snowsky unhappily.

Firestripe had been offended when Snowsky took Ashkit from him. It was like she was saying he wasn't good enough to carry him. But now he was glad. He didn't want Foxtail yelling at him for carrying Ashkit.

"Okay." He bit the mouse and half. He ate half. "There! I ate it. And you can eat it too!"

Snowsky, taken aback, genitally laid her kit down. "He snuck away while I was out with Lionroar." She crouched by her kit, giving him comforting licks. She felt bad for taking her kit away from Firestripe, but it was her kit.

(Scamps, Petalback is a queen..She always stays in the nursery even if she doesn't have kits of her own.She's there to help with bigger litters and such =D)

(it's his kit too! but he doesnt care. But right now he does because, well, any cat would want to help if a kit was hurt. he wants to act like Ashkit and his littermates arent his kits. like they're just someone elses.)

Silverpaw laughed. Then crouched and picked up the mouse. "I'm going back to camp." She said through fur. "I think it might start raining." She looked up at the clouds.

Foxtail swerved her head around.
"All of you back up now, give the poor thing room to breath! Especially you, nosy mom! Stand back!" She looked around with a dark gaze, as if the thought of a poor little kit being so injured was worse than death. Shoving Snowsky aside, she gently sniffed the kit before picking him up at a rather awkward angle. Carefully, but quickly, she took him to her den. Then she set him down, making sure her body barred the entrance so nobody could come in. Looking outside, she called to the group. "Make sure nobody comes in, even you."
