Dusk yawned, his pace slowing a bit. He had lost sleep last night, his dreams haunted by Hailstorm's last words and his dying breath. Shaking his coat a bit to ward off the shivers, he started towards a clearing where he might find a bit of peace.

Brechen perked his ears a loud howl reached them, a summons from the beta Bronte. With a single wag of his tail he began to trot towards it, wondering why they were meeting.

Goldpaw was already near when she heard Bronte call. She jumped out of the shadows and tackled Bronte, then stepped back and laughed with glee. "What's up, Bronte?" she asked curiously.
