Kody Smiled as he heard her voice. "I didn't mean to alarm you miss. My Daughter and I were passing through when we scented another kelpie. My Daughter is young as has not seen another kelpie besides me. I wanted her to meet another. My Name is Heaven Sent a King, but you can call me Kody. This is my Daughter, Nikki." he said as he turned to ruffle Nikki's short mane.

Nikki peeked out from behind her father at the pretty mare. "You're pretty miss!" she squeaked, suddenly shy.

Sangra
With Kody and Nikki. Relaxed but still skeptical.

The mare nodded at the stallion's reply and was humbled at the filly's words. If she could blush, she would but her already flaming red coat did that for her. "Thank you Nikki, you're pretty too. My name is Sangra," she introduced herself to the two, glad to know their intentions. "Well you're one of the frist kelpies I've met myself. Haven't been around many in a while."

Kody smiled. "We got seperated from the herd before Nikki was born and We haven't been able to find it since."

Nikki gave a happy whinny and slowly padded up to the mare. She smiled.

"I'm sorry to hear that. Sadly, I can't say I've seen any herds around. I only met one other stallion before meeting the both of you," she said and smiled back at Nikki who had approached her.

Balasque (Baa-lass-kay) II Male II Curious about surroundings

Las slowly trotted past the trees, carefully dodging a few stray branches that poked out. He sighed as the came to a stop, then turned around quickly, his violet eyes searching for Shadow, his faithful acquaintance.
As she soon as she appeared in his sight, he turned back towards the path and began to trot once more, slightly slower then his previous speed.
"Hurry up, Shadow," he called with a hint of challenge in his voice. "Gotta keep up with the king."


Shadow II Female II Annoyed, but tolerant
The chocolate palomino mare muttered under her breath as the pesky stallion trotted ahead.
"That idiot always thinks he's the "king". King of what? Ignorance?"
The two have been traveling for days now, searching for any other kelpies. Shadow, being the dominant female she is, would have gotten rid of such an ignorant fool as Las, if only she didn't have a plan already formed in her mind. She would use Las, and make it appear as if she was a submissive and timid kelpie, and then, when she'd challenge him to a duel, she'd come victorious.
"Finally," she whispered to herself,"I could get respect from someone, just once..."

Indigo
Wandering through the swamps. Looking for friends.

Indigo kept wandering through his little swamplands, looking more around then where he was going. He noticed a shape a little ways away and nickered towards it.

She lifted her head and flicked her elegantly curved ears, picking up the sound of hoof fall and a soft nicker. She rumbled with a returning nicker, her nostril flaring.

Who's this? She wonders to herself, not recognizing any familiar scent from her travels.

Kody smiled and again shook his long flaxen mane out of his eyes. "You haven't seen any crocodiles around here miss...have you? They keep following me..." He asked softly as he eyed the dark, murky water. And then he glared at his daughter as he realized she was planning to scare the mare.

Allie smiled and nuzzled him back. she really liked him. Well once she though about it this was the first guy she really liked. She was glad it was him and no one else. He was fun and loving to be around.

Balasque (Baa-lass-kay) II Male II Wary

As Las continued to walk on, he spotted two- no, three- figures in the distance. His ears perked up, hearing little fragments of words as they got lost in the light breeze that drowned out the voices. He flicked his tail, as a warning to Shadow to keep quiet, not that she'd do anything else, of course. The red stallion began to walk towards them after a moment, still watching the trio.

Shadow II Female II Curious

As soon as Las perked up his ears, and gave her a signal, Shadow knew something was going on. She knew Las enough to know that he rarely gave his attention to much, unless it interested him. Unfortunately, that didn't include many things. Her pulse quickened once she caught the scent of a few other kelpies in the distance, chatting away. She hoped that they were not aggressive, at least.
