Name of cat: Aithne {Meaning fire}
gender: Female
Age: Young adult
Personality: Aithne is caring, kind and sweet when you meet her. She is friendly, as she likes to know others. She likes to help out, because if she just sits back and does nothing she feels slightly useless. Aithne is also outgoing and bubbly when you meet her. She is a bit shy if she is just first getting to know her. Aithne is quite reserved at times, too. But, Aithne has a snappy side. She is bold and isn't afraid to throw herself head-first into things. She is headstrong, too. Aithne has a fiery personality when she wants to have one, and she won't take anyone pushing her around. She hates it when others push her around, and that's why she won't take it. Aithne is also slightly impatient.
Backstory: Aithne was born as a stray. Her mother had just left her house afraid that her owners would take Aithne away. Aithne's father was also a stray. But, instead of living off of scraps on the street, he lived in a barn, far away. Aithne's mother had first met him whilst he was adventuring. But after staying with Aithne's mother for a while, he left back to his barn. He had asked Aithne's mother to come, but she didn't have the guts to leave her humans at that time. But, when Aithne was ready to be kitted, she left. Anyway, Aithne lived during the harsh conditions. It was very hot, not cold. But by harsh conditions, they barely had enough food to eat and had to fight with other cats. So, as soon as Aithne opened her eyes, her mother took her and showed her everything she needed to know. Then Aithne was made to travel with her mother. She had no clue where they were going at that time. Her mother had just told her that it was a secret. Her mother was taking her to her father. A few days later, they reached the barn. Aithne's father was right there to greet them, and yet he didn't know who Aithne was. He smiled down at her and asked. Aithne poofed up boldly, thinking that this strange cat was going to attack and burst out her name loudly. Aithne's parents both laughed, and then her mother told her that he was her father. Aithne had stared up at him, before jumping all over her father. So, they ended up living with her father. Dolan was her father, and Nim was her mother. Aithne was taught skillfully by her parents, and by the other barn cat that lived there. His name was Petrus. Petrus was Dolan's younger brother, so that made him Aithne's uncle. So Aithne grew up into a strong she-cat. But then, her uncle Petrus died when he was trampled on by a horse on the farm. He was running across the field, when the horse ran at the same time, unaware of the cat. It snapped his neck. Aithne was devastated. Same with Dolan and Nim. They all grieved. Aithne didn't realize that another cat was sneaking around the barn, taking the prey as they pleased. When Aithne went back to the barn, she saw him and rushed at him, ready to attack. The two got into a squabble. Then they broke apart, the tom suddenly frightened, and ran off. Aithne felt great pride, but then felt like something was behind her. As she looked, she saw a human. Aithne ran off, just escaping being caught. Now, Aithne still lives with her Dolan and Nim.
