I'm quite embarrassed to say that even though I've been trying out for various Equids for over a year now, I still haven't earned one Thought I would just see if I was allowed to join here anyways

Of course you are allowed to join. You don't need to own one to love them! I wish you luck in getting your first Equid!

Thanks - I've been trying for over a year now, but just can't get one. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong, but whatever it is, it's really frustrating...Any suggestions? I try to make my entries as meaningful and put 110% effort into them, but just can't compete with everyone else it seems.

Edit: @Lemur-Flight - Yes, I've tried organizing a breeding, but no one has been willing to do one for me

Maybe you just haven't asked the right people? WHen I first tried arranging a breeding for my first equid I got almost no replies. Then I came to the fan club where a ton of epic people offered me use of their equid's breeding slots. There's a list of equids on the front page who are being offered for equidless player breedings.

It could be as simple as name choice. But from what I can tell you aren't trying very hard at three pages of equid tries. Many others have more then that and I notice that you havent entered for any art or story equids. There's various ways to get equids and I suggest trying harder and them all. When I first noticed the equids it was way back around when they first started and I didnt get an equid until many many pages later. As well as watch livestreams it's one of the many ways people snag an FCFS equid like I did with Swan. And since getting Swan I have not gotten another equid other then Sirius from many months of breeding planning, and happening to have the right rare for maz.

@Fifetastic - I have a stallion who is avalible for selected breedings. I'm sure if you could search the front page for a female, then you'd be able to breed them. But of course you would have to try and get a breeding slot. But Bandero (My stally) Is at your use

@Flick- I have to disagree with you. At first I avoided art competitions because my art sucks. The only reason I ever started putting in for them is because the artists said its not all talent. Does my reluctance to partake in art events mean I didn't try enough at first? No. Not at all.

Well, none of my Equids were won by art and only one was a personality/history.
And I own 5 little sweeties now after months and months.
So don't give up! You'll get there!

It could have been because there was no connection, or Fife wasn't on. I know I didn't enter in many because the WME wasn't right for me.

And dont give up! I finally got one after a year of trying! You will too!
