"listen, if we're going to talk, I have to be able to see you at least." Ella finger combed her hair a little and tried to look for any indication of where the girl might be. Fluttering leaves, a distorted area, anything.

Christine flickered, still transparent and high in the air on her shorter, but wide wings.

Mouse shook her head, clinging to Ella with her small hands. "No, I don't wanna," she protested, shaking her head. She felt like a little kid - well, she is a little kid. She hid behind the second-in-command again, watching Ella's hair ruffle at the sudden gust of wind. Was that the stranger? Mouse blinked, thinking and gazing up at the sky. To be honest, it was most likely just a curl of wind; a careless breeze.

"I'm not sure if I particularly like invisible beings," Trevor said as he smothered the flames by rubbing his hands together. Ella seemed dried off enough anyway. He warily eyed the area where the girl was last visible. Transparent was fine, he guessed, but complete invisibility gave him a sense of uneasiness. "It's up to Luna to let her join and all. But, really, why would she turn down a young girl?"

"Mouse..." Ella knelt down and looked at the little girl. "Mouse, honey, I need you to help me out. Please? You're closer to her age, she might be more comfortable talking to you." Ella pit on a small sympathetic smile. "I understand that you're a little scared, but I need you to think of how scared she must be. I don't think she has a flock of her own."

Christi landed behind them, watching them stare to where she was last seen.

Mouse hung her head, gnawing on her bottom lip and thinking. "Fine..." She lightly shuffled her feet; she hated talking to new people, especially strangers. And they still didn't know if they could trust the girl. A thump echoed next to her, and she turned, shrieking in surprise at the sudden sight of the girl. Unfurling her wings, Mouse shot up into the air, glancing down at Ella and the girl below. Not funny! the four-year-old thought, frowning in annoyance.

Christi flickered again, coming into sight every few seconds.

"Mouse! Mouse please come back, you'll catch a cold all the way up there!! You're wings still aren't entirely dry yet!" Ella looked up with a worried expression. Where was Luna that she couldn't even tell what was going on out here? "Mouse!!"

Christi took flight, seeming solid again. In truth, she couldn't really control the invisibility thing. It reflected her mood. When she was terrified, she was invisible. When she though she will not be attacked at the moment, she was seen. In between, she became transparent.
